The Bay right now lacks a word called ORIGINALITY! If one songs cracks about a yellow bus we make 20 more songs about it, if Stunna Shades and sideshows is hot then we make 30 songs about that, Thizzin is popular so we run that into the ground! Dont be afraid to do YOU! Put it out and force people to like it, promote and PUSH the fuck out of it.. Thats what so raw about Mac Dre, and is about Andre Nickatina, (Where Mac Dre got alot of ideas from) They do/did shit cuz THEY wanted to and whoever fucked wit it fuck wit it.. they didnt/dont do it cuz such and such made it hot or cuz kmel might fuck with it.. That what page me and Big Rich was on making his album and picking his singles.. Rich got to do him and we HOPE yall like it.. We had a song that didnt get to get finished.. titled "Im Not Hyphy so they might not like me"! feat Killa Tay and C-Bo it was tay song so it will probaly be on his record.. But the point is sooo many people do all these songs and BART wants to blame 40 for biting?? and not say nothing abut the 40 other artists that did man think about it.. better yet do something original to contribute cuz its MORE TO THE MOVEMENT.........

lasted for only the summer? i dont think so. it started back wit mac dre death and that was more than a year ago. regardless if it started at his death though, the movement is still strong. bay folks puttin out some good hyphy tracks still. i thought it was just a phase when 106 first started on the block, now its basically on throughout the day and on 949.

get it straight, keep it movin.

Hyphy movement hasn't takin off across the nation. It was introduced to the world by 40. it just didnt take off. You guys have to realize it is hard for movements to take off when people dont understand the language. When keak says it's good like the gran daddy. Niggas all over the world is like my grand father is cool? you guys on this site gotta realize how this hyphy movement has been spreading to the other markets. It's been spreading b/c the kids are going to college in other states now, and there taking it with them. The bay area sound will be popping in a couple more years. We are taking this one song at a time. Rome wasnt built in a day! Take the baby face assasins for example, they have been getting played on every station west of the mississippi, and you guys dont ever talk about them. Check there media base. that checks all the radio and video play across the country.

The point of the song was to ask would you take a chance on something different.. not to Bash Hyphy. @ all cmon Im apart of the movement i just dont do the dance, POP pills, etc.. But as far as The Bay moving as one Im wit it.. The Video should tell you that.. everybody came out.. and btw the song wasnt done and the title was " THEY MITE NOT LIKE ME" This is a PILL generation but to be honest The DRUGS are the biggest Part of the movement cuz niggas sell more pills than they do CDS!
