I dont think there are that many established Bay artist that wants to be exploited by the majors. "The Souf" is still profitable to these vultures. Hyphy is still looked upon as being a cheap scented Crunk Movement. Maybe the Bay should focus on it's true Talents.

You really have to give things time. Its spreading everywhere. Believe me. I travel to hella different states and Im always hearing about stunna shadez and ghost riddin. Its crazy. Right now, the train (hyphy movement) is just pulling out of the station...once it gets going...it will be full speed.
Its exciting to see it spread.
Has anyone hit up youtube.com and checked out off the people from all over going dumb, putting their stunnas on and lipsincing to hyphy songs?! Check it out if you havnt...

There are many projects (music wise) being worked on. Things dont happen over night. Yes the music business is about gimmick...but it has been..it didnt just get that way. There has to be a visual. Thats what helps sale. The buyer has to also be stimulated visually.
Yes, it sucks...but that is the way it goes.
