Im sure many of you are familiar with siccness's own Gate Won...Well he sent me a CDR full of tracks (in various stages) including the 9 tracks for his upcomming Deep Compression Sessions E.P....As soon as I put it in my head phones it was slumping...Infact I replayed the first track before I even went on to check out the rest...Every single song has a diffrent feel & unique concept, (gate stays on concept very well)...about 4 tracks in I was saying to myself, damn this is what we need for rap, not just for the west scence but rap in general...(Thats a big statement, I've listened to rap rarely lately...most of it is deluted with wack beats & fake raps)...The beats are unique & vary greatly track to track...there gangsta at points & others are just high deviations, but all fit well with the point of the song...All im saying is when this shit drops, you better cop or kick yaself in the ass for missing out...
