thats what im saying at the least, and taking a qb in the 1st is laughable too.....

Whoever did that probably noticed they didn't have a QB who has given them anything to be positive about...

The RB pick...Gore doesn't need to worry about his job, but they could use a decent backup, but I think that high, when they have other needs is far fetched.

A WR, perhaps? Or even a QB in the second (instead of the first)...

The same can be said about the Raiders.......
Come on; I wasn't talking shit, don't be such a pussy about it.

LOL...he's still basically a rookie, but if he plays most of the snaps this year and next, and hasn't done anything positive, then the same can be said about him as Alex Smith (bust).

If they picked up McFadden, they'd be set (at RB), but they do have more pressing needs, and don't need a RB as much as many other positions, so yes, this can be said about the Raiders, too.

Yes, the Raiders can use a WR; a QB, definately, but could pick up a decent QB via free agency or a late round pick, to be a backup.

LOL...you act like I was scoffing at your dumb post, ya' big dummy. LOL...don't be so quick to catch feelings; you're acting like a female, cupcake.

Neither was I.....

In 2005, Alex Smiths Rookie Year, He Started 7 games, with a shitty OC, and No weapons on offense, only a budding Frank Gore, but having Barlow in neutralized that, and added more harm, His 2nd year with Norv as OC, and a decent surrounding, he put up decent numbers, 76 passer rating, 16 tds, 16 ints and 2 rushing tds, now, the Offense now is greatly improved from 05, There is good weapons for him now, and a good OC, this is his judgement year, last year, he was hurt 4 games into the season, and had a poor WR core. He did play 3 games hurt before finally being benched, so take a look @ alex smith in those games before the injury, he was doing half decent, now, Jamarcus put up the same amount of ints/tds, so according to those numbers, if he had played every game, he would have 8 tds, 16 ints, Alex is also 1 year older than Jamarcus, now, this year, is the make or break year for Alex Smith. He will come in with a good WR core, a good OC, if you want to bring technicality into it, this is alex smiths 2nd year...

McFadden could be a good pick, but it would show they have no faith in Bush, I think bush could be a very solid starter in the league, they should use the pick on stopping 1 of the AFC Wests elite backs, the best scenario would be for them to trade to Dallas for their 2 1sts, or even for a 1st and 2nd, and take A DL and a OL, 1-2 punch, that way they can improve their Running game, and their Run D, all in the same draft

Yes, the Raiders can use a WR; a QB, definately, but could pick up a decent QB via free agency or a late round pick, to be a backup.
All of those needs could be addressed in the later rounds.....

never that

So...since 'the same could be said for the Raiders'...all those excuses could be used for Jamarcus, also, right? LOL

And ''no faith in Bush''...? He's a 4th round pick, and NOT the starter; it would be more towards Fargas.

Hit me up; I need to figure out how to get ringtones on my phone. LOL

lol @ this. You can't predict that jamarcus would have had 8 td's 16 int's from those few times he's played. Jamarcus only started 1 game last season and in 2 other games played only part of the games. This is after sitting out the entire pre-season. So your theory has absolutely no substance.

There is a big difference between a qb having 1 career start and another having started 3 seasons. It's a lot easier to see that smith is a bust.

Started 3 seasons? he didnt start as a rookie, he only has 1 true season under his belt, he got hurt last year 4 games into the season, and played fucked up, u cant judge that, and he looked decent before that happened, he was 2-1 as a starter, even with a shitty OC and Wrs

I'm basing it what I've seen on the field. Smith isn't a horrible qb, he's more of a mediocre qb, who looks like he should have been drafted in the 5th or 6th round rather than in the 1st. His accuracy problems and lack of arm strength is what I don't see him ever really overcoming.

Its bad mechanics, he was taught by a terrible OC and QB Coach in his 1st year, Mike Mccarthy and Hostler lol and hostler was his OC last year, i know u may say that mccarthy isnt bad, he went to a damn good QB situation in GB

no its coming from a spread offense in college playing against bad teams that made him look good.
and the first 3 games before he got hurt he wasnt playing any good. unless u consider like 150 yards/game 1 td, 1 int, and 2 fumbles lost good

im a 49er fan just like you but stop defending this bum until he actually does something.
and seeing this guy in person in davis acting like hes the shit doesnt help.

Exactly he was a system qb who played at Utah which isn't exactly in a very tough conference.
