Step into a real conference if you want to be considered a contender, fuck the garbage ass Mountain West. Like i said, step your regular season schedule up if you want to be considered serious and as for USC i said it a couple of weeks ago if they were in the Big 12 they wouldnt have only 1 loss and they wouldnt have the supposed #1 defense. The Big 10 is wack, those arent that impressive of wins.
First of all, someone should just smack the fuck out of you right here. Because neither were ANYTHING to college analysts until they won. And still, the analysts arent taking them serious, they just like Pete Carroll and his dominance, and the feel good story of Utah.
If I said someone had a mouth full of shit, It'd be you. The first half of that game was one of the most PISS POOR ass games I've ever seen. Turnovers, penalties, a bunch of fucked up worthless plays, and in the second half, POOR POOR coaching on Oklahoma's part (read: take the field goal idiot!), and a couple of WIDE OPEN plays that made the game for Florida, who was CLEARLY a better team. This was as good as a mediocre conference game in any of the big conferences. I'd rather see Arizona play LSU for the national championship than this fucked up commercial vested crap of a game.
And Florida shouldn't have lost to Ole Miss. And Oklahoma shouldn't have lost to Texas. And Texas shouldn't have lost to Texas Tech! And Texas Tech shouldn't have lost to Ole Miss! And Penn shouldn't have lost to Iowa! And what does this all mean?! FUCK YOU! Oregon St. went out and shut out a ranked team in a bowl WITHOUT their best offensive players. Sure it wasn't the best win in all of college football but watching them shut down Pitt and seeing them hold USC to 21 = pretty convincing that they are a good college football team.
Please explain. Texas played in what we now know is an overrated conference and placed #2. USC played in what we now know is an underrated conference and placed #1. Utah placed #1 in what we now know is an underrated conference and smacked the fuck out of Alabama. You're argument is void and you should consider suicide at this point.
The Pac-10 plays HANDS down the #1 REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE IN THE COUNTRY. Name a Big-12 or SEC school that played Ohio State, West Virginia, Oregon, Oregon State, Cal, Arizona (USC). Or a school that played Boise State, USC, Cal, Arizona, Oregon State (Oregon). Or a school that played Michigan State, Maryland, Arizona, Oregon, USC, Oregon State (CAL). Or a school that played Penn State, Hawaii, USC, Utah, California, Oregon, Arizona (Oregon State).
Or a school that played Michigan, Oregon St., TCU, and BYU (Utah).
And note in this whole example I use, Arizona, who beat Cal, who lost to USC by 7, to Oregon by 10, to Oregon State by 2 and BEAT a 16th ranked BYU team and didn't even make the top 25. (OK, they lost to Stanford too, but so have some other pretty good teams for no apparent reason other than FOOTBALL is FOOTBALL and you can outplay a team any day).
Step your life up.
Think about EVERY YEAR how some team gets screwed in college football since there is no playoff. Are you a doberman pincher? Does your brain rub against your skull and make you angry for no reason? Because if your logic is that Texas got screwed worse than any team i think in history considering they beat Oklahoma that makes you a doberman pincher.

Not Texas Tech, not Oklahoma, not Missouri, not Kansas, not Nebraska, not Colorado, not any team in that conference even has an argument right now, EXCEPT MAYBE Texas, and given Texas beat Ohio State by a few points at the last second, and USC raped them, by your logic, this wouldn’t even have been a contest. Oregon FUCKED UP, ROUGHED UP, OUT HUSTLED a team they were FASTER THAN, SMARTER THAN, and ATHLETICALLY SUPERIOR THEN, and they came from that big tough Big-12 conference USC would have more than two losses in. Oregon State played down their two pro-bound offensive threats, played badly, and STILL SHUT OUT a ranked team.
They played in a conference that went 5-0 in bowl games.
