as soon as you leave sd county the mexican food basically turns into taco bell lol even l.a. is about a decade behind with their shit... i was up there for the laker parade last year and tried out random taco shop and damn... no sour cream on my shit, horchata taste like some ampm shit, the jalapeno carrets were all stale with no flavor... that shit was charles barkley "turrable" homie lol when i go back up there this year for that laker parade again im hitting up that roberto's drive thru before and dropping a dubb...

I just want you fools to know about the history and culture in the Barrio. There is so much that goes beyond the banging. There is a sense of pride within the community, only place I know that is AGAINST improvements and corporate businesses coming in. Huero said it. ^^^ ha, yup. if you in dago, try the mexican restaurant "Lolitas". ive mentioned it before, im gonna mention it again. the one off bonita road is the best, they season their meat all perfect. they have a salsa bar that IS NOT watered down, so pack as much as you want along with the other shit if you like (onions, limes, etc.)

i feel kind of bad turnin this thread into a topic about burritos...heh.

lolitas is way overrated to me they opened one across the street from my job and its just not as good to me as most taco shops...the one on bonita is 5 mins from my house maybe ill check that one

i know what youre talking about...cuz i went to the off bonita first, THEN tried the other spots. none of them compare. its weird, its the same franchise, same menu...just different cooks i guess. and that right there makes the whole difference.

@wallnutz: you should. if you get anything with fries, just say easy on the fries and you'll be straight, ha.
