That shit was fucking murder! Lock is really on another level with that shit. The dope part about what Lock does is that he can battle and make real music. Props to Locksmith for reppin the Bay THE RIGHT WAY.

Locksmith is on a fuckin mission...It's dope to see a Bay cat slaughter cats like this. It's funny, because it seems like just when you wounder what's up with The Frontline, out of nowhere that start making quality moves like clockwork. I can't wait to see more battles, more albums and on the real the Bay radio and clubs could use a new single or some shit from them.

Goddaaaaaamn, Lock is a fucking monster! Jesus Christ...

I've never seen someone use sound effects (Chewbacca) acting (the whole Spoken Word thing) in a rap battle. He also did it with such a great sense of humor.

So add that, to his unmatched lyricism... and you got a problem.

Man when he broke into that spoken word shit I was on the fucking floor! Lock is becoming one of those dudes other battle rappers will emulate and pattern themselves after with the styles that he is killing cats with. It's a pure fucking shame that The Frontline are not national sensations, but at the same time since they don't be all over the place with they faces in the camera...they might not even want that type of fame. They seem like they just like making music on they own terms.

Lock killed him. Other dude was cool though, he wasn't trash. He had some nice liners too. But the whole Chewbacca thing was nuts.

It's a good feeling, watching a Bay Area emcee represent like this, on this level and in this hostel venue (since he was in LA basically at Daylyte's house). He went in there and handled his business. I can't wait for either another battle, a new album or both.
