The Thing was a pretty bad ass horror flick I watched when I was a kid. In fact, I watched it again a couple years ago and it still was a sick as movie.
Phantasm was one that freaked the shit out me when I was like 6-7 years old. LOL a bit corny now but back then, man that old man with that flying ball gave me nightmares for a long ass time!!
The OG Nightmare on Elm Street, again as a kid that shit was freaky....YOU'VE GOT THE BODY AND I'VE GOT THE BRAIN!!! classic
The Shining. No explanation necessary.
Hellraiser. This came out when I was about 8 or 9 years old. Pinhead was just too fuckin savage NOT to creep you out when your that young. I don't remember seeing as much blood and scary shit in any movie prior to that film, then again I was like 8 but still, I love horror movies back then (much more so than I do today) so I watched pretty much all of the good ones and there were something about the scenes in Hellraiser that were simply unrivaled in any other movie at that time, the flesh being ripped off bodies, etc. Pound 4 Pound it's gotta be in my top 3 of all time.
