Linksys Router Problem

Got a 4 port...My power went out today! Can't get any connection through my router, already tryed resetting it, unplugging it, turning my computer off and on and still got jack shit? My internet connect is through comcast and is working fine when i bypass the router. No longer have the disc or manual for the router..Any suggestions? Bout ready to throw this bitch in the trash and get a new one but i know its some stupid ass easy fix!

Call customer service. I had problems with mine, too. They should be able to walk you through it.

make sure to cycle the power of your dsl/cable modem before powering on your router. typically they can only have one mac address behind them. Once the modem has been cycled then plug in the power to teh router and make sure the internet light comes on. if it has beenr eset then it will most likely be 192.168.1.1 or something like that and login of admin/default or somethin. Then you should be able to plug your pc in behind the router and get online.

take the router ac adapter plug out for 6 seconds then put it back in

Your power adapter might not be providing enough voltage. Mine went out, and its a wired four port. Power light was red when this occured to me. Try switching power adapters.
