fa'real... everytime I DJ at spots people is always requesting Lil Wayne... only reason I heard that steady mobbin track was b/c some dude was like hella suprised I didn't have that track in my create, and was talken it up saying that shit was fire!!! I was like ok with a title like steady mobben this might be a tight track spin... DL'd it, and heard him girly giggle - so I made this thread lol

I liked lil wayne when he actually rapped and didn't just giggle and rap like a retard but that was at least 10+ years ago....I don't understand WHY the fuck anybody would listen to his "music" now. His raps where better before "bling bling" came out...then he started goin downhill.

This is what actually really made me a Wayne fan. Dedication 2 mixtape from 2006. IMO, in this whole mixtape era, this is the sickest one to come out thus far. This was before all the autotune and super hype beasts. ANYONE who's heard this mixtape knows what's up.



I understand everyone is gonna have their own opinion. No artist is gonna be liked by everyone. But I'm just saying to call him the weakest rapper out there is ignorant, and to assume everyone that listens to him is a "fag" is just as ignorant.

Now I wouldnt say he has no skillz...He got a few songs where he does put it down.
He's jus overshadowed his abilities with his bullshit.
He stepped in2 the game when it was weak and was brilliant with the amount of good work he did in such a short time...im glad hes proud.

But 4 him 2 say hes the best...nope...a blood....nope.

If I seen Wayne and Kanye in the same room I'd think I jus walked in2 a gay disco.

thats all i'm saying. Its like saying you hate M. Night Shamalan movies but still go to the theatre to watch The village, signs, the happening etc.
and nah i don't have any of Lil Waynes music and dont really like or dislike what i've heard on the radio so im pretty unbiased on the subject.
And when I spin records at clubs I could give a fuck about requests unless it has to do with getting paid, and if thats so then I'll play Garth Brooks greatest hits for all i care.

I stopped giving wayne spins after The Block Is Hot, that was his last good album. Everything after that was wayyyyyyyyy to whack for me to even try to listen to.... The Block Is Hot still get's steady rotation though.....
