No I didn't, actually. And how you gonna tell another man that you don't know, who he knows and doesn't know? I've been around N Jail quite a few times, been to his house, met his wife, and done some songs with him.
I didn't come in here to tell him how to care for his family, and I have absolutely ZERO hostility towards dude....he's a real cool and down to earth cat.
I'm speaking from an artists perspective though. Talk down on music all you want...we put ourselves out there and that's what happens. I don't like Wayne's music, I will never buy it...but I'd never call him a fag for it...whether he's gay or not. lol.
The fact is, Artists aren't completely responsible for what is released. It's done because that's what is selling, and that's what the companies release. I know, trust me. I've been in front of those A&R's that told me they liked my shit, then told me to make it sound different to appeal to a wider audience. In 2003 they told us to take a laid back song and turn it into a club joint...and we would have had a deal. But as artists, we refused that shit.
So, I can't blame Wayne for what he's doing.
