you fucking tripping, that beat was fucking bangin, I was hella mad at the hook tho....duffel bag boy? bitch please, go cop a jan sport
I guess y'all are takling about the "I ain't never ran from a nigga and I damn sure ain't pick today to start runnin" part of the hook as being catchy.....and I can dig that, but the first part was fucking ass and that shit is only catchy cuz its repetitive and over a breakdown in the beat so you can only focus on that
I still think:
beat = tight
everything else = not so much
That's not surprising.
I read somewhere all the people that have or will ghostwrite for dre.
Some of them where, Eminem, Jay-z. Royce, Common, Rakim, D.O.C. and Ice cube.

for me personaly i dont mind them guys ghostwriting for dre cuz these guys are real lyrcists... now as for lil wayne he aint no lyricists, just full of shit and a swagger jacka and no im not hatin...
I don't know...Wayne's delivery and content on BMJ off of the Carter album sound like Gillie to me. not to mention how wayne's mannerisms are damn near identical to Gillie.
D.Black wrote and produced the hit song "Wobble, Wobble", performed by the 504 Boyz. The song stayed #1 on 3 different Billboard charts for 4 weeks.
He also created a lot of the beats from Chronic 2001 and got no credit on the album from Dre but he did get paid $$$. So Dre don't just use ghost writers for lyrics he uses them for beats too, no doubt he polished them up for the album and produced. If you listen too old interviews with Tupac and the Dogg Pound they said alot of stuff Daz produced and Dre took credit for his work and splashed Executive Producer on everything.
most people who use ghost writers don't refer to themselves as emcees
puffy would correct people all the time making it known that he's an entertainer, not an emcee....I'm sure dre ain't hella tripping over being considered an emcee, all he's trippin off is $$$$
Still hip hop is music and music is art, these are artists. If u found out that a rapper whom u have bought a cd from, has his shit ghost writin wouldnt u feel cheated?there is no purity in the music if its not honest .. its like buying a painting and finding out that the person who's name is signed on it wasnt the one who painted it .. Thats wack
