pitchfork just gave eminem a 2.8 because they know theres white kids that look at eminem like lyrical lord and would through hip hop hissyfits over a bad eminem review...they know the bad review would do numbers and on top of that it would be funny to see people cry about it.....on top of that i personally, dont like eminem now a days.....when he first came out he was dope but over the years hes gotten wacker and wacker to me...so they just see it from my perspective..so i think its on point...
i can see why theyd give lil b a 7 and em a 2.8......one thing ive noticed about reviews is people get so fucking bent out of shape....like if they give em a 2.8 and lil b a 7 that dont mean that theyre saying lil b is better than eminem, or even that lil b's album is better than eminem...theyre rating an album for an individual artist at a individual point in his or her career..its rating an attempt, not like saying somethings better/or......so recovery was given a 2.8 based on em's running record and lil b's album was given a 7 based on it being something new, fresh, not done before and lets be real, some people overanalyze the simplest of things..so alot of lil b';'s lines prolly get laughed at and are entertainign in that aspect...im not speaking up for pitchfork cuz im in no way related i can just understand the thought process.
indecent, dont take offense, but i was wondering, why are you in every single lil b thread? i mean dont get me wrong, you can be..you can talk about it as much as you want. but for some one who dosent like the shit, i swear dog, you be in every single one....is there a specific reason? i ask more or less because i wanna understand the thinking of people who show interest but dont like it....i mean, i fuck with some of his music so thats my reason. plus, i guess i like debating shit sometimes and talking about it.
offtopic were in a time were lil wayne can kiss baby and sell a mill in a week, a dude could be a correctional officer, rap about coke and still be popular...do you guys think that maybe, maybe lil b is playing into that with the pretty bitch thing? i mean im not sayin act gay to get sales, but in a twisted way, maybe calling himself a pretty bitch is his way of showing how social feedback feeds the engine of rappers buzz? maybe im thinking too deep, just sayin..it wouldnt take much but a psychology 101 class to be that smart
