Unfortunately the popularity of certain artists is a relection of how stupid and easy to please some people have become....lil b and kesha are popular for the same reason.... but it took me a long time to realize that some artists are in the game just to be flashy and popular by any means rather than have something important to say or creatively contribute to the culture.

Pitchfork is a very credible site and J Stalin did not pay for a review and I seriously doubt that Lil B did either. I was honestly scared to let Pitchfork review the Prenup cuz of how they might not get it. What I learned was they appreciate an artist truth in their music and I think no matter what we think of Lil B's music I think we can agree that it reflects him wether good or bad.
I'm sorry, but any website that gave Em's new album a 2.8 and this Lil' B bullshit a 7 gets ZERO credibility IMO

pitchfork just gave eminem a 2.8 because they know theres white kids that look at eminem like lyrical lord and would through hip hop hissyfits over a bad eminem review...they know the bad review would do numbers and on top of that it would be funny to see people cry about it.....on top of that i personally, dont like eminem now a days.....when he first came out he was dope but over the years hes gotten wacker and wacker to me...so they just see it from my perspective..so i think its on point...
i can see why theyd give lil b a 7 and em a 2.8......one thing ive noticed about reviews is people get so fucking bent out of shape....like if they give em a 2.8 and lil b a 7 that dont mean that theyre saying lil b is better than eminem, or even that lil b's album is better than eminem...theyre rating an album for an individual artist at a individual point in his or her career..its rating an attempt, not like saying somethings better/or......so recovery was given a 2.8 based on em's running record and lil b's album was given a 7 based on it being something new, fresh, not done before and lets be real, some people overanalyze the simplest of things..so alot of lil b';'s lines prolly get laughed at and are entertainign in that aspect...im not speaking up for pitchfork cuz im in no way related i can just understand the thought process.

i wouldnt know why they gave em a bad review, im not the reviewer and im not pitchfork, im personally just guessing...... theyre challenging the way you look at reviews in the same way that lil b might be challenging how people look at rappers..and that may or may or not also be why theyd give lil b a high review rating...
