your an idiot and get off of websites and limewire shit . the "scene" lamers have been encoding to 128 for a while now . if its done right with EAC the difference between 128 and 192 is NOT noticeable cause it sounds the damn same. just fyi i used to be ignorant like yourself when i started downloading shit but some of us go on to better things than well what shitty things and areas u use lol
- i buy my own shit unless it's something like a Tech appearance on a lame nobody-group and download crappy pop singles using things like soulseek. I'm not an audiophile...I could care less really and am not sure why it's relevant to anything written above, but...
- the lower the bitrate, the less likely any ripper (be it CDex, EAC, WinAmp) or encoder (be it LAME/MP3, AAC, Ogg Vorbis etc) will be able to fully reproduce higher frequencies. a 128kbps file and a 192kbps file, same song, same software, etc. will, of course, be different...the extra 1-2MB of the file isn't just taking up space. whether it will SOUND different will depend on the individual listener. if the quality or loudness/dB of a 192kbps mp3 drops off drastically at 17khz and and a it drops off at 15khz for a 128kbps mp3, then a person who has trouble hearing above 15khz WON'T be able to tell the difference. however, a spectral analysis or frequency analysis will SHOW that it is different and someone who has no problem hearing frequencies up to 20khz MAY hear a difference.
i was merely speaking for myself.
you'd have a point.....if everyone heard things the same way.
also...."idiot", "ignorant", assface, cockmaster, retard, etc.
*whew*...e-flexing is taxing.
