This was a movie I really enjoyed, even though I'm not a big fan of Vampire movies. It was just something new and fresh and deserves to be called a genre classic imo.

Now, only one year later is the American Remake already in the works...I mean I can understand remaking a 30 year old movie, or a movie that wasn' done right the first time, but a one year old classic? The fuck is wrong with Hollywood?

It's one of the best vampire movies I've ever seen. I'm not a huge fan of vampire flicks in general but it was one of my favorite movies from last year.

thanks to this thread I watched this movie last night. And I really didn't think it was all that great. A few good scenes, story was decent, but it kinda dragged on and wasn't very interesting.
