Don Semesky, the former chief of financial operations for the Drug Enforcement Administration in Washington, D.C., asks: "Have you ever seen a meth addict, with all those sores and rotten teeth? And what they do to their kids? Do you want the government to be responsible for that?"
Oh no no no lord NO... our government would never do anything like that to their people :cheeky: .... But sending them to die in another country is OK

^ but to actually "stimulate the economy?" That hasn't happened. The gov. does make hella money either way, but @ least by legalizing drugs, namely marijuana, it will have a huge impact on society. I would think positive, although there more than likely will be some negative affects. It'd be different than before because it's actually helping out the common citizen in America, rather than just those higher up in the gov. The point that was made about more jobs is just one good thing that would come out of it, and there's plenty more.

The only problem with legalizing marijuana right now is the fact that it is such a taboo in our society, at least to younger crowds and still some older, it will bring a shock to the system and i believe the first years of it legalization will bring a lot of negative reactions. I am for it but it showed be slowly introduced legally through slowly lowering legal age, maybe taxes etc...
