PALM BAY — A 50-year-old man who police say has a history of problems with his neighbors will face a judge on charges he chased a lawn man with an ax and a hammer after leaves blew into his yard, officials said.

Eric Edward Ericson, of 1172 Wildrose Drive, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest after Palm Bay police responded to the home to investigate a disturbance, records show.

Ericson posted a $41,000 bond this morning at the Brevard County Jail Complex where he was held since his arrest Saturday, officials said.

Police said the latest trouble started after Ericson confronted a lawn man and kicked at him while complaining that leaves were blowing into his yard.

Ericson shouted curses and said he was going to kick the lawn man in the buttocks, reports show.

The frightened lawn man started picking up the scattered leaves when he turned and saw Ericson run toward him with a hammer and an ax, according to reports. Police arrived and attempted to talk to Ericson, who ran inside the home he shared with his mother, records show.

Officers kicked open a sliding glass door and tried to take Ericson into custody when his mother stepped up and tried to block police from going through the house, records show.

Police warned her to sit down. Police found Ericson in the bathroom and arrested him.

Ericson was handcuffed and taken to the Brevard County Jail in Sharpes. He faces a violation of probation hearing June 4.

this stupid ass fucking radio station at work plays the SAME 40 fucking songs EVERY DAY! and its a 70s-80s radio station..why do they act like 20 years only churned out 40 songs worth playing? this shit is as bad as the rap stations.

ive been working here for 9 months and listened to this station throughout those 9 months and i swear to god, the same songs all the time. i should write them down. they make the 70s and 80s look hella weak for music.

or maybe its the same losers requesting the same songs..

when i worked out in the field........we HAD to tune into different various radio stations because whether you listen to rock, hip-hop, alternative, oldies, or R&B, you'd hear the same programmed songs over and over. After a while you know the stations schedule.....along with all the advertisements embedded every half hour. you start to memorize advertisements, radio personalities, djs, etc etc.
