lancer evo's??

anyone have a lancer evo? or heard anything about them??? i wanna get one. but dont know much about it.... tell me what u know.

They go fast but you can't get them sideways unless they're on dirt. I love to rally race, but I wouldn't own an Evo as my daily. I'll stick to RWD.

Not True for about the same price you buy parts fo a honda civic you will get more horsepower than you would a civic plus you can always get sponsored and get free parts and labor try these sites getsponsored.net and carsponsorships.com

maybe.. but what are the chances of this guy gettin sponsored or wanting sponsorship as well as all the responsiblities that come with it? if hes not willing to go all out with the car then most big sponsorships wont even take a second look at him.

anyways, one of my friends is big into mitsu cars and evo's happen to be one of his fav. evo's have a great motor and those things can really go when u mod them.

in fact, you could get 300hp w/ bolt-ons like exhaust, MFC, and intake. 4g63 engines respond well with minor bolt-ons.

also, the later evos already have a turbo built in them so if the stock boost level isnt enough for u, just buy a boost controller to get the max power out of them small 16g(the size). the good thing about small turbo's is that there is less lag for them and u can do the 'get up and go' a lot faster than big turbos.

if that isnt enough for you, you can buy bigger turbos and whatnot if you want more power b/c these motors are interchangable w/ a lot of parts like mizzouplaya said.


i could go on lol but i hope that anwers your question.












btw, if u DO get one, they're pretty fast stock and handle great but dont do much body-wise. a lot of ppl tend to make evo's look hella gay w/ wack bodykits.

they are. lancers are a LOT slower and used as your sedan/fuel saver(sorta) kinda car. they're a lot cheaper too.

evo's are a lot faster, more expensive, not that good on gas and whatnot..


although they look similar, they're pretty different in looks too
