Contract will be glass mounted and viewable for all at the album release party. Feel free to read over every inch of it then (no non-disclosure clause).

GOD Bless the doubters. Thank You. I am just a normal man, working a normal job, taking care of a family. I am true to the scriptures and was blessed. I followed my instincts to Major in Public Relations and Minor in Business. Me doing those things opened many doors. I opened those doors and have left many open for other artists. I have given many artists here HUGE breaks within the industry, if they want to step forward and say who they are that is on them.

I will tell those who say that they are the dopest emcee or they have the flyest wordplay that NONE OF THAT MATTERS. This is the music business and until you get every piece together correctly you will never accomplish anything. Master the business side or go get a guy with a M.B.A from Harvard or Yale to handle your business. Your homie that went to a Junior College or that has been in the Music "Game" for years working as your Manager isn't going to cut it.

Look at how many dope artists from this Region have their "homeboy" Managing them but have not went anywhere. Step it up on the business end and then you will see results.

And if you think hating on the man whom is the less talented rapper, but the better business man is is doing you any good think again. What do you think the A&R Researchers are going think when they get wind of the Hating? That they want to go look in that region full of Haters to sign artists of whom don't even support one another? I don't think so! That is going to turn them off A.S.A.P!

Knowledge, not ignorance in response. Get it together. Get a GREAT ATTORNEY, Get your business plan tight. Get your marketing plan tight. Get a quality manager (with no less then a B.A. from a Major University). Get a quality booking agent.

Soak in the knowledge, take the advice and maybe you all will have your own deals and not have to doubt or think in a negative manner about the next man.

Ive been real critical of L-Love in the past, and to put it simply I'm not a fan. I made all the points before that everyone is making now; never heard of him, never heard the music, never heard him talked about etc etc...And he'll even tell you, I went as far as to say on here that I threw his CD out the window...

That being said, dude has carried himself in a proffesional way, and he has earned my respect for doing the best he can with the music he makes. Even if I dont like it, I cant knock him for doing his thing and being a positive person. I hope this news is true, it would be great for him, and great for the area. I wish dude all the luck in the world.

He said UMGD - Emphasis on the D. Getting a distro deal through UMGD is not the same as getting signed by UMG, they just distribute your record to the few stores left. No promo, no marketing, just a name in the catalog and some shipping services.

The hate is just hilarious here. I've heard of L-Love and I'm out in Texas. I'm not a fan of his music and the man has even admitted himself that he doesn't consider himself the best rapper. I've heard a few of his CDs, I liked one of his earlier comps, I forget the name, but if I remember it was in Murder Dog Magazine and reviewed by them. Regardless of what his music is, his hustle and his work ethic is something to admire and something everyone would be good taking note of. I don't know if he's being distributed by UMG or not, but he's been at it for like 10 years putting out CDs and getting exposure and despite not blowing he's kept at it. He's kept it professional in this thread too despite all this hate so I got nothing bad to say about the man. I'll probably not buy any of his CDs since I haven't like much of what I've heard, but let the man get his hustle on and do his thing.

Thank You. I moved a lot of copies of L-Love presents "East County Gamers" in Killeen Texas. It was a huge selling market for me.

L-Love presents "East County Gamers" got PICK OF THE MONTH in Murder Dog Magazine the same issue that they reviewed C-Bo's Mob Figaz, Too $hort, X-Rated, Rouge Dog Villians and many other big named artists projects.

Thank You very much for remembering that Murder Dog Magazine issue and also that album.

No prob man, and yeah Killeen got the HUGE army base on there so I wouldn't be surprised if cats from cali and all around the country were peeping it especially with the murder dog exposure. I didn't remember it was the Pick of the Month but that must have been why I got it. Wish I still had it too, cuz I remember slapping it quite a bit.

For those younguns, Murder Dog was THE fucking magazine if you weren't into that commercial shit so getting Pick of the Month was something to be proud of.

Yeah the Army base being there must of been a big reason why the album sold so well there. The project was also being distributed by South West Wholesale out of Houston Texas at the time.

If you want a copy of the album, ORDER HERE:

And yes sir, Murder Dog Magazine was on a huge level. That was before the youngsters wanted to start getting everything instantly via the World Wide Web. I used to wait those 2 months for the next issue of Murder Dog Magazine to come out. Getting Pick Of The Month in Murder Dog was like getting Album of the Year at an Awards Show.
