In that video they said it wasn't them who called him a cracker, there were other people in the crowd. And Why not ask for money? If they can milk Kramer for a few bucks why not? Who's to say what they deserve and don't deserve? Kramer doesn't deserve to have money either if that's the case because his ideology is twisted, he lead millions of Americans to believe that he was a funny and lovable person, when infact he's nothing more than a biggot! Theft by deception my friend. Why shouldn't the people who exposed him and were subjected to media exploitation be entitled to some form of compensation? It wasn't like Kramer was some regular hill billy on the streets, Kramer holds a certain ammount of responsibily and should be held accountable for his actions in some way, shape, or form..

Good point.. Yet n still he has a responsibility as a celebrity to be more aware. It's an uneven playing field, for example: You know how pro boxers and martial artists can be charged with attempted murder if they beat the shit out of some one on the streets right? aight, im currently studying up on criminology so i can tell ya this, if dood lost any buisness or public prestiege due to the remarks or allegations outside of the place of the incident then yes, that is defamation of character. but this instance is also diffrent by the fact that he apologized, hence admiting fault when defamation of character is more about someone saying something that is totally false like, "dudes a kiddie toucher, a faggot etc"... and trying to get people to believe it..
