I way just expressing that I would rather not see a "feat. Kotton Mouth Kings" track on Everready.
I guess for a lot of Tech N9ne fans, this CD seems like the one that has the most potential to get Tech N9ne known wider to the world, and I just dont see KMK as being one of the bands (thats right, a band, not even a rap group you can call them) that will help him get the record sales he needs. If that Twista track was laid down and not just some BS hoax and gets put on everready, and then we got brotha lynch hung and Em spittin verses for the new album, who knows where the sales might get to. Id really love to see Tech not just in the spotlight of the underground, cuz he deserves more. Although, as always with fans of "underground" music, I just dont want a bunch of stupid muthafuckaz gettin into his shit, but I guess with fame and riches some dumbass people will get into the scene.
As for KMK, I grew up on punk rock and hip hop, and I listen to both genre's of music a lot. Now, they're supposedly mixing punk rock with rap, and thats supposed to be their "style". Well, being a huge fan for both types of music- I think they are just played out and not interesting after the first 10 seconds of each song. How many songs can you write about smoking bud and getting drunk anyway? the shit gets REAL OLD REAL QUICK. If I dont like it I dont like it, that doesn't mean that im hatin. I will acknowledge though that Im sure KMK contributed to Tech's fan base in some type of way, although with him touring with BONE THUGS N HARMONY and ICP, I dont see very many people buying tickets to see Kotton Mouth Kings and all of a sudden discovering Tech. I know I got my Hallowicked ticket just to see Tech N9ne and Bone Thugs, and anyone else was just time I spent standin around.
