Time to fire up the old track machine. 5 Dime NWK, we've been through that discussion already about why radio does what it does. Bottom line, radio is a business like any other. They have to play what their specific demographic wants to hear and although alot of us want tohear Bay shit even more of us want to hear new shit from out of the Bay also.

So theres a poll that music listeners take and then Kmel "The People's Station" actually add these songs to their playlist???

Let's try this 1, Kmel Airplay decisions are based upon Corporate Pimpin done by Clear Channel's affiliates. Imagine Thizz Entertainment or any Independent Bay area label having the same bread to cover marketing and promotion as Interscope. The bay would be a threat to the industry.

On a side note, I give KMEL props tho' They run the Black Community. Can we get some on-air personalities with street credibility???

best sh1t to happen to bay music in awhile. alot of out-of-towners will now know whats really because theyre usually out site-seeing on friday and sat nights.
