KING OF THE BAY??????

With all due respect to Mac Dre, this is not valid. It's like having a President die, but remains President forever. Life goes on & the next one in line takes the throne.
In reality, if people want to label someone a "King of the Bay" based on status / work ethic and success? It's often based on your hardest rhymes, but being that most artist in the Bay often fall on deaf ears outside the region, I take it would be based on success etc. Other than that, it have to go to Lil B as of late.
BUT!!!!! Before Too $hort etc. the one who truly put Oakland / the Bay on the map and took it worldwide is...

Personally I think the whole King of whatever city, state, or region is hella gay...
If you wanna say you the king in a song or rap line thats coo but when you go as far as t.i did wearin a crown on the cover of a magizne then thats just some clown shit...and its even worse for the people that co-sign that shit and say dudes king...for real what kind of man would call another man king??? there is no real way to determine the 'king of the bay'.. its stupid. TI was the 'king of the south' 5 years ago, but thats way different. theres too many talented rappers in the bay with there own personal acheivements that its impossible to compare say an apple to an orange. if I were to say a top 3, I would say Mac Dre r.i.p., 40 water and Short.. but not even these guys are "kings".
