The Tempest sold 33 thousand it's first week and debuted @ #20, as reported on every single website besides this "Daily Double" nonsense.

that says nothing about debut numbers or debut chart position. most, but not all albums peak their first week.

HDD uses Soundscan numbers to determine their charts. Unless that's a major typo, I can't imagine that would be inaccurate.

when i was writing my thesis I had access to Billboard.biz. if my login still worked I could pull up everything...entry position, peak position, last week it charted, etc. nothing about amount sold, but that shit was still pretty bad ass.

The site numbers you gave are wrong man, it debuted @ #20 on the Billboard charts and trying to say it debuted @ #40 then later climbed up to 20 is silly especially considering the group you're talking about.
