2pac days ( before death ) and he wasnt great until after he died, people started loving him more just because he died and never payed much attention to his music , 2pac had some great tracks but hardly a legend,
wow had to quote a dumb ass comment again. no matter what you think or i think, to say 2pac is hardly a legend is beyond belief for me to hear. that motherfucker will always be the face of rap music no matter what era where in, kinda like Elvis or Jimmy Hendrix. and yeah death did make Pac more famous but thats how it works for every single person who dies thats was that good example aaliyah, hendrix (who wasnt rarely known until death) and the list just goes on and on. the noise he was makin with his music right before he died was insane. i mean yeah you remember pac being around but judging how u dont like the dude i'm guessing u just tried blocking his fame out or something cause that motherfucker was everywhere in the entertainment buisness from when he got out of jail till he died.

now i know ur trippin' and dont know what u talking about. eazy was always known as a hard artist even after his lyrics fell off but theres a reason behind that that i figured everyone already knew. ICE CUBE, the don mega of gangsta rap was the real motherfucker who brought gangsta rap to the game. he wrote all the NWA lyrics and thats why he was really the only one who made a shitload of dope albums after it excluding dre but he dont count cause he's a producer and dont write shit. eazy e's lyrics fell off once ice cube and him fell off cause eazy had to write for himself. i though you would know this.
Very true, Dre was the producer, and Ice Cube was the writer. Ice Cube is the true king of this shit, and does he get the respect he deserves? No. Ice Cube is a fucking legend, and so many people fail to realize that. Why? Simply because he's alive. Ice Cube is STILL coming hard to this day, where's his praise?? He will never be praised as a legend in the public eye until the day he takes his last breath.

^^^^it's the sad truth. same with Nas and maybe even Eminem. but Ice Cube is more of a legend than any other rapper in My Eyes but's simply cause he brought my favorite type of rap.

Whether or not he was big before he died in irrelevant. BOTTOM line he would never still be mentioned as much as he is today if it wasnt for gettin killed in such a big media ordeal. And to add fuel to that already burning fire BIG is killed in retalliation. If those 2 events never happened and both artist just went on their way as artists. They would eventually faded away just like EVERYONE else has and either just produced like dre and others or just kinda pops in and out of the spotlight. They never would of been cast as these glorious all time great fuckin rappers. 2pac was great dont get me wrong but Big DEF would of never taken his name to what it is now. It doesnt really matter cuz thats not what happened and it is what it is and noone will ever really know for sure.

Can we just fuckin move on and get back to the topic now? That would be great... There will ALWAYS be 2 sides to this arguement. Anywhere you go. Just forget it.

I know I hardly ever post, and that my opinion doesn't mean anything, but Tech doesnt disappoint. Every time he does an album, a feature, an interview, or anything that involves him getting "bigger" in the game, theres a select number of people who come on here and become "hip hop" critics and scrutinize against him on every move he does in a negative way, however they continue to buy his albums and support his movement. So long story short, my opinion which doesnt mean anything to anyone, if you consider The Worst, CB4TS, Anghellic, Absolute Power, and Everready the same album in which an artist duplicates himself over and over...DONT buy Killer. On the contrary, if your a fan that feels opposite of that, Do It Like You Do It, and SUPPORT the artist!

feedback???

well thats the thing. ya never know so instead of them fading in the background they died on top of there game and they'll always be remembered for there best cause they never had a chance to slow down really. but dead or not they would both of ended up legends. but now there icons for there death and thats what it is like in this country. like Big said ""you're nobody 'till somebody kills you" and maybe thats the truth

i think you should look at it as a good thing. with fame comes criticism and the true stars can see through it and look how far he's come since last album. biggest feature he had on everready was e-40 and now he got like 3 or 4 bigger than on this one album. he's getting bigger therefor getting more criticism and thats just how it goes.

Tech HQ put this on as a Vital. he didnt seem like he was in a good mood when he last posted so I think its safe to say NO lol

As far as what you said regarding Tech getting more criticism I think your right on with that shit. Name on big artist out there that hasnt gotten there fare share good and bad.
