I'm not going to speculate that Killer is going to be a classic like 2Pac's "All Eyez On Me", but that album had 27 songs, 45 features, 6 solo songs without any other artist on the entire song (12 if you include featured singers for the hooks) and 12 different producers.
Meh, All Eyez On Me wasn't even that great. 2Pac has to be THE most overrated artist of all time. I'm not saying that 2Pac wasn't an excellent artist, because he was, but the moment he died, everyone put his ass on some pedestal, same with Biggie. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people say "The best rappers ever are Pac and Biggie". Hmmm, kinda funny how they're both rappers that were beefing, from different coasts, and both died around the same time, and people happen to use both of their names together like they were a duo or something. Biggie had what? 2 or 3 albums? Guy wasn't even at his prime and people called him one of the best rappers ever. If they were both alive right now, no one would be saying the statement I mentioned earlier. People make shit bigger than it is.

Are you really attempting to compare tech n9ne to tupac?

I can give you 2x as many albums with 1/2 of the tracks featuring a "big name" that didn't do shit... In most people eyes, its a sign of desperation.
Hey douche, re-read this.

I'm not going to speculate that Killer is going to be a classic like 2Pac's "All Eyez On Me", but.....
I'm just pointing out that it has done before and I'm sure Pac fans didn't have vaginal soreness when they found out how many features his album was going to have.

Ok, so what's the story here??? I hear people saying there are too many features and then on the other hand many of you are wishing that so and so was on it. Is it really that bad that there are so many features, or are you just fearing that the features from the people that you dont know are going to suck?

Because I can think of a ton of albums, double albums included, that had just as many features if not more and were great.

I'm not going to speculate that Killer is going to be a classic like 2Pac's "All Eyez On Me", but that album had 27 songs, 45 features, 6 solo songs without any other artist on the entire song (12 if you include featured singers for the hooks) and 12 different producers.

Just some food for thought.
Like dude said, u cannot compare Tech to Pac first off....

Secondly the answer is FOR ME is yes to your question I dont think these dudes will be that great. I do not know who most of these others rappers are on this album and giving Techs track record on prior collabs he doesnt pick really good people to collab with for the majority anywayz. So if this were my album, I would keep Cube, Shawna, Paul Wall, LA and Scarface. Scratch everyone else from the album. They may end up bein good, but NONE will match what Tech can bring to the track and thats all I really wanna hear. Then add Lynch to it and be done. Of course still havin Kutt N Krizz n shit thats just a given.

But ya I can gaurentee this would be a much better album if they cut half of these people out of it. I dont give a fuck how good they are on the track. Could this still end up bein a good album? Of course, but it will wont be great IMO unless these people just come with sum fuckin heat which I HIGHLY doubt.

Hey, fucktard, i read that, your comparing the 2. I didn't comment on your opinion on either album, did i?

Sorry, I blacked out after you said this.

Maybe the most SENSATIONALIZED or EXPLOITED artist of all time, but not overrated.
2pac was not overrated... He was a midway point between radio shit and thug shit... A lot of rap that came out before him was thug shit, after, radio shit. He was a little bit of both, and appealed to both sides, mostly because he could.

I completely agree with you. We need a TECH album, not another collab album. All these people besides the known greats should be CUT from the tracklist, they just can't bring to the mic what Tech can, ya never know, there's a good chance that Tech will outshine the other known artists too. I can just IMAGINE what an ALL Tech album would be, and THAT would be Killer. Tech caring the whole mic by himself for 32 tracks?? That would be TOO sick. But the fact that Tech has other artists filling up half of the tracks is just like having an average Tech album. Let's hope the features bring it as hard as they can, they're gonna need all the luck they can get to even come close to catching up to tech...

Hey, Queerbait, I didn't GIVE a fucking opinion on either album. I called All Eyez On Me a classic because it is widely viewed as one. I was simply stating the similarities in the make-up of each album. Obviously that's too deep for you so go back to the shallow end with the slow children. DICK

I'm still hoping for the Chamillionaire feature... and why does everyone keep complaining about features? The Strange Camp doesn't even count as far as I am concerned, and I am impressed with the big names released so far.
