ok let me explain these things first.

yes i do like icp, and other horrorcore music and i have been a tech n9ne fan since anghellic. i like every album he has released but i am disapointed with killer so far. bitch if you will but i loved vitaligo. i loved mlk. prozacs album was pretty good too. i maybe feel about 5 songs on killer. i have been listening for about a week now. i find myself skipping a lot. maybe it will grow on me, but i just cant get into some of the songs. psycho bitch, waitress, and black boy are my favorites so far.
So basically you like the songs that have some sort of a fuck you message. Its a Juggalo music taste. There will always be bitterness and fuck you music from Tech, it wont always be written and on the kinda beats you guys have gotten used to Tech spittin on though. You basically skip all the shit that niggas that love bitches would love.

I wasn't feeling the 2nd cd at all, maybe I'll have to give a few more listens.
yeah 2nd CD took me a few more listens to grow on me but I'm still only really feelin like 6 of the tracks on there, compared with 11 on the first disc

still, I have to admit the tracks I wasn't feelin as much before I'm feelin more now... the really bad ones still suck and I don't think I'll ever be able to get into them (Shit Is Real, Drill Team, Beat You Up, The Sexorcist, I Am Everything)... but tracks like Wheaties, Too Much, I Love You But Fuck You, & a couple others I cant think of right now have grown on me... yeah, solid 15- 17 tracks, you cant beat that nowdays

Marconito, your opinion is just shy of invalid. Beat selection? Seriously? David Sanders, Seven, Wyshmaster, Rob Rebeck, Matic Lee......That's fucking silly.
I think that's maybe what makes me say that. You have fucking awesome instrumentals like crybaby and I love you but fuck you and then you get to some so so shit like ... actually, I just checked all tracks and they're mostly all bangers. I guess I'm not feeling the hard rock type tracks but that's not because they suck, mostly my tastes.

Don't know what you were hearing, but this shit is hot! The sex shit was done proper, beats are fuckin' sick, only track i was worried about was the paul wall track, and even that shit was fuckin' raw. If you wanna live in the past then do that, bump angellhic, ap, cbts, worst, and vt. But just because YOU don't like what tech has evolved into dosen't mean you have to polute the world with your hatred. shit honestly listening to it right now i feel that this is what i expected from everready, not sayin everready was bad, i loved everready, but this shit is just that good. keep that hatin shit to minimum cause no one wants to hear it.

After reading all of the "killer is amazing" or "killer is great" topics, i'm beginning to wonder if everyone's expectations of Tech N9ne have been deminished.

Killer is very very dissapointing. The best song (the title track) isn't even on the god damn album.

The sex shit can go. If I wanted to hear about sex, i'd listen to R&B, not fucking Tech N9ne.

Alot of the songs are soft. And the songs that had alot of potential, sounds like Tech half assed them. He doesn't put the energy into his songs that he used to. He just talks across most of them like almost every other rapper nowadays.

"All Killer No Filler" ? For an album that is almost entirely filler, thats the slogan Tech came up with?

Bash me for this, call me whatever you want, but Tech has either lost it, or is bored with it at this point.

Kaliko's album sucked. Prozak's was mediocre. Tech's was mediocre. Grave Plott's was the best one so far surprisingly. At this point, Kutty and SS are the saviors of Strange Music.

If Tech and Travis want Strange to get any further in the industry then it is, they need to go back to that crazy shit like Anghellic and Absolute Power. Because this soft shit isn't cutting it.

Thing is Tech isn't ICP or any horrorcore type rapper. ICP aren't even emcees. They have very limited writing skills if any, rhyme structure in their songs are always basic and they always have some basement beats. The only difference between them and other crappy rappers that juggalos are quick to diss, is that ICP rap about some bullshit. Tech is way above that if you expected just some stuff touching the subject matter that you're into then that sucks cuz your music tastes are very limited. But Tech comes correct.

I can agree with that statement. I actually don't like I Am Everything at all. I have never liked HED P.E., though, so there's my reasoning behind that.

I Am Everything sucks after Tech's verse. Good thing his is first.

I wasn't feelin' Shit is Real at first, but it grew on me. The hook is weak, since it's so fuckin' repetitive, but I can look past that since the verses are all pretty tight.

It seems like it might be a good live song tho...anything that will get heads nodding and people acting a fool is good at live shows.. I felt the same way about Bout to Bubble until I saw them do it live and I was like "ok I get it now" lol...

i think you missed the entire point of me mentioning my OTHER musical tastes. i have been a tech n9ne fan longer than most people on this board. this is tech n9ne were talking about not icp. what i am saying is yes i enjoy icp too. i also enjoy tech n9ne. that shouldnt make my opinion not valid. you know the guy who talks about sex, mixed drinks, sex, clubs, and sex? i knew what to expect. i still wasnt feeling the songs. i LOVED absolute power. same subject matter. I LOVED everready. same subject matter. Your barking up the wrong tree telling me my opinion is wrong. just because i listen to horrorcore doesnt mean i expect tech n9ne to be a horrorcore rapper. i just expect his cd to be as good as his last. in my opinion its not. two cds of music is cool sure, but i would have rather had one cd of all good songs.

just because i listen to music from psychopathic records doesnt automaticly make me a "juggalo". but i know what songs are catchy and good to my ears. sexorcist was a good song too. just short.
