Tony and Norcal for the first time someone has changed my mind on this site.
It's all good dog... we're the Raider nation. We chop up game and learn from each other. We'll see what happens though. As long as Keyshawn doesn't come with that attitude he had a few years back he'll be cool. I think he behaved pretty well in Carolina. I think Carolina released him because they wanted to get younger at the receiver position. Adding Keyshawn to our roster could help us this year especially after losing Moss. Mike Williams is suspect right now. He's overweight and just pulled him hammy. We need a tall receiver that could out jump little DB's like Dre Bly.

the person said "i bet he waits for a better team" is wrong because these are the ONLY two teams that are drawing intrest.....so if these two teams dont sign him he wont play.......its not like ethier of these two teams will give a whole lot of money....hes going to get the vet mininium and thats about it

neither the titans or raiders are showing interest.........

So get rid of moss for johnson???? sounds like a good trade off.........

hahaha... Norv Turner is the only coach in the NFL that sags his pants.

I don't think Keyshawn is washed up. 70 catches is good for a number 2 receiver. Keyshawn doesn't have the after burners but he's a possesion type receiver that will help keep the chains moving. And Norcal is right... Keyshawn never quit on his team. It's hard to compare Randy to T.O. and Keyshawn because T.O. and Keyshawn never quit on their team no matter how fustrated they were.

ok I have been sitting out of this raiders lovefest long enough!

Keyshaun had decent numbers yes! IN THE NFC SOUTH! His best games all year were against Redskins, Bucs and Saints! No power house defenses....as a matter of fact take a look down thier schedule from 2006 and none really would scare you. They had a cake of a defense schedule AND Steve Smith is double convered alot AND missed 2 games so of course He was going to get balls thrown to him....they have no 3rd wr...look at thir squad...lol they had no choice but to go to him.

So umm yeah plaing in the nfc south and on a team with no legit 3 wr will be just the same as playing in the afc west with other wr's just as good if not better around him!

THERE IS MORE TO PLAYERS STATS THEN THE STATS THEMSELVES GUYS!

Tha fact of tha matter is this still tha NFL which means not for long if you dont perform ur gone and keyshawn has always shown up neva quit on his team and has done wat was asked of him like tony said he is not goin to blow by anyone but he will find a way to get open and be a good possesion wideout and he is a great blocker at wideout so he can help out the running game there and that ur theory and most teams really only rely on the first and second wideout tha third and fourth are their to really to help no1 and 2 get open but if they got burners and good hands then they will have a chance to make some plays usually a qb is looking at no1 or no2 then the Te then tha 3 or 4 and he still has had 70 plus catches fa tha past 3 seasons and you dont think carolina brought Keyshawn in juss for that reason knowing that Steve smith would draw double coverages so they had to get somebody that would catch everything thrown his way

WHAT?

periods, commas and punctuation would help with your point a whole lot more!

What I was trying to say is playing in the nfc south on a team with only 1 other wr to even worry about is a whole lot different than playing in the afc west on a team with more than 1 wr to worry about.

afc west as a whole has way better pass defenders than anyone in the nfc south does by a longshot!

thascary 1.... you're trippin man. You're saying the reason Keyshawn came through with 70 catches is because he was playing in the NFC South? WTF? What does the division have to do with anything? They're good corners in every division.

What good cornerbacks does the Chargers have? Chiefs? Ty Law is an old man now... and Patrick is on his way. You don't think De Angelo Hall is a good corner? Ronde Barber?

Hall And Barber didn't go up against Key, they went against Smith..AND Law Patrick and Champ are better than anyone in the nfc south. Hall can be mentioned there but he is NOT better than Bailey!

And if you think the defenses that the Panthers faced last year are as good what the Raiders will face in the AFC you are smokin!

Add to that he had Jake Delhomme is 100% better than whichever qb The Raiders decide to go with!

the funny that ya'll fail to realize is that this year Keyshawn is not going to be playing along side of steve smith and not have jake delhomme as the QB......

I mean that doesnt make a difference since the raiders have jamarcus russell and jerry "i didnt play last year" porter.........
