Kerry accuses Bush of 'fear and smear' tactics

NEW YORK (AP) -- "You can't lead America by misleading the American people," said Kerry, who has been struggling in recent days against charges -- denounced by Democrats as smear tactics -- that he lied about his actions in Vietnam that won five military medals.
"My duty ... is to be a president and commander in chief who finds the truth and tells the truth instead of misleading the American people, hiding behind front groups, saying anything and doing anything to avoid the real issues that matter, like jobs, health care and the war in Iraq."
last week Keery was forced to change his story in which several times he specifically said that he spend Christmas in Cambodia in secret missions. he even mentioned it on the senate floor, and how it was "seered" into his memory. he has since changed his story thanks to the Swift Boat Vets calling him a liar. Kerry now sais he "might have been" there in January instead. LOL. and now his official Biographer Douglas Brinkley is changing the book to reflect that.

now again thanks to the swift boat veterans Kerry is changing another one of his stories to match that of the swift boat vets.

Kerry's campaign now says is possible first Purple Heart was awarded for unintentional self-inflicted wound...

Kerry received Purple Heart for wounds suffered on 12/2/68...

In Kerry's own journal written 9 days later, he writes he and his crew, quote, 'hadn't been shot at yet'... Developing...

oh ya and on anther kerry related topic it is pretty funny how when moveon, ACT , Goerge Soros (personaaly gave 15 million) and other were on there wat to spending $63,000,000.00 in attack ads against Bush he didnt say a word, but now that the Swift Boat Veterans have spent about a half a million in ads he is crying like a little bitch. even going as far as to threaten to sue TV stations and newspapers that carry the ads. book stores and the book publisher that carry the book. LOL

LOL, yeah what a dick, Kerry cant remember what he was doing thirty years ago, whether it was December or January. Probably wouldn't make a good president. After all, he would have to get us out of the deficit Bush landed us in and get us out of the hell hole that Bush led us into in Iraq. If he cant remember what month he was fighting in Vietnam over 30 years ago, what good could he do? Better to stick with our current leadership and see where it buries us in the next four years.

Pro-Kerry Groups---63 milion spent acttacking Bush
Peo-Bush Groups---1/2 million spent attacking Kerry

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Funny thing about that lil stat is that when you factor in the FREE air time that swift boat ad got on all the news shows and talk radio and in the printed press it would total up in the millions.

In fact the new swift boat ad didnt even pay a dime, NOT A FUCKING DIME to ANY NETWORK to run the new ad. They shot it, edited it and gave it to the media outlets and ive seen and heard it at least 100 times already.

kerry shot a ad to reply to the attack ads the swift boat vets have made and ive seen r heard it maybe and im sayin maybe 10 times on the news shows, radio or quoted in the papers.

i'm sure your uncle knows about how Bush punked out from going to the war right? it's hilarious to me how Bush is a "war man" when he isn't the one that has to fight it. because when their was a war he had to fight everyone knows what he did. in order for Kerry to file papers to go home he had to have gone ,, i guess you can't say the same for Bush.

Wealthy Donors Help Liberal 527 Groups Amass Huge Money Advantage
By Robert B. Bluey
CNSNews.com Staff Writer
June 28, 2004
(CNSNews.com) - Only one of the top 25 donors to political 527 groups has given to a conservative organization, shedding further light on the huge disparity between Democrats and Republicans in this new fund-raising area.

The top three 527 donors so far in the 2004 election cycle - Hollywood producer Steven Bing, Progressive Corp. chairman Peter Lewis and financier George Soros - have combined to give nearly $24 million to prominent liberal groups. They include the Joint Victory Campaign 2004, America Coming Together and MoveOn.org.

According to the Center for Responsive Politics, which tracks 527 data, liberal organizations have amassed nearly $80 million in donations compared to a mere $8 million for their conservative counterparts. Groups are categorized as 527s for the section of tax code that regulates them.

www.msnbc.com
........Of the top 10 individual donors to 527 committees, all are backing anti-Bush or Democratic-allied groups. Of the 50 largest groups, 34 of them are allied with the Democrats or anti-Bush.

The top donors include Soros, Peter Lewis, the head of Progressive Insurance, and Andrew and Deborah Rappaport. Andrew Rappaport is a partner in a Menlo Park, Calif., venture capital firm........

Swift Boat donor

The Swift Boat group is financed partly by Texas Republican donor Bob Perry, who has given to Bush’s 2000 campaign and House Majority Leader Tom Delay’s campaigns, as well as to that of Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee of Texas.

With more than $600,000 in funds raised, the group is small compared to the Media Fund, which has raised $28 million and run ads assailing Bush, or America Coming Together, which has raised $80 million and is looking to add another $45 million.

note: that isnt money spent that is money raised.

i will post the money sent later.

The amount of money raised against Bush is preposterously unfair.

Why? He is a reckless, arrogant, preposterous president. Bush has disgraced the office of the White House. Him and Rumsfeld should face criminal charges for the gross negligence that kills our soldiers en masse. The actions of the Bush presidency have been fucking ludicrous. This fucking snake, this chickenhawk has endangered the USA. We need him out immediately.

I'm more amazed that you actually support him Mclean...then again I'm sure the deepest of your digging on what Bush has done in power has been listening to the Sean Hannity radio show and watching Fox News.
