No one is saying he isnt liberal or doesnt support the democratic party. Hes on MSNBC, of course its gonna be slanted left.
But to compare him as the liberal glenn beck is a tad ridiculous. And I says this because people like glen beck and sean hannity promote FEAR thru misinformation. I dont really think olbermann or anyone on msnbc really promotes fear or slants news quite like FOX does.
Yeah, he's probably not the liberal Glenn Beck. That would be Mike Malloy. Whoever said he's the liberal Bill O'Reilly is probably closer to the mark.
Anyway, that said, saying that Olbermann or MSNBC isn't as bad or doesn't quite slant news like FOX still isn't a good thing.
Listening to Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh sound like cheerleaders for the Republican Party. They don't like social programs, or any kind of government intervention that is close to socialism, but they were fine with Bush passing the bank bailout. What happened to the free market? Then with the Iraq War being against the Bush Administrations policies was "unpatriotic" but being against Obama's policies is patriotic.
However, when I finally saw Olbermann on TV he spouts bullshit masked with a passionate, eloquent delivery sprinkled with a great vocabulary.
Unlike FOX's commentators who are Rebublican biased, he's liberally biased, but not Democratic Party biased.
Olbermann on Scott Brown:
In short, in Scott Brown we have an irresponsible, homophobic, racist, reactionary, ex-nude model, teabagging supporter of violence against woman and against politicians with whom he disagrees.
Then he asked a guest if Brown's winning was a reaction against the nation now having a Black President, and if being against Obama's policies was code for being against a black man as president. Which to me is absurd considering the election was between two white people, in a state that overwhelming voted for Obama.
