ive seen a lot of opinions about kanye west in the boards. i really just wanna hear the reasons why people either love him or hate him.

some say hes a great lyricist, or maybe even a pioner,and others say hes a try-hard uncle tom Nas wannabe and a whole lot of other bullshit.

id just like to hear some thoughts

99% of "masterpiece" beats are sampled.

Hip hop wouldn't be shit in the production category if it wasn't for sampling.

But I feel you, other than that.

He just brought in a new style at the right time, when the industry needed a change, he changed a lot of things and paved some new paths opened some doors.

95 / 100 Producers sample they music so why hate him just bc he sample music? makes no sense. And no Im not a big Kanye West fan either for the record I didnt like the College Dropout album and thought Late Registration was okay. I just liek his production for other artist.
