OK put it like this....we already have enough hyphy and thizz artists....lets leave it at that....it's them no more ad ons for the time being....now...lets make some more shit a bit different and show our diversity but let all the artists respect eashothers styles and then mix up the tours with that in mind. feel me. this hyphy movement is great, the thizz yellow bus shit is great but we will need to expand in a few.

all movements die hard

artists who do THEM(as long as THEM is quality, versatile product) will have more longevity and more appeal to other music fans

You right, there needs to be other people on besides that hyphy/thizz shit, else the shit will go down as a fad and the whole bay rap game will feel the effects of that...

lol its kinda too late... when DJs get my songs.. they tell me "YOU DONT SOUND LIKE A BAY AREA RAPPER" because they think everybody is on that hyphy shit.. so in THEIR eyes.. JP is the "next" because he's gonna seem different from everybody else in the bay.. i tell them that its plenty muhfuckaz who dont even make UPBEAT tracks outhere.. who got they lyrics, delivery, style all together

look at the south.. T.I., Jeezy, Ludacris, Lil Wayne etc.. crunk is basically finished with.. and they gon ALL still have careers, cuz they didnt do the NORM for they region, they coulda all slipped into non-stop crunk... but they came different.. and they'll continue to make albums and be supported by the nation

That's the reason Scarface still rap. He never really hopped into any bandwagon, always did him, and never lost respect. He might not sell the most record anymore, but he can still live off it and maintain a career. The problem is, that hyphy and thizz shit ain't for everybody, it's limited and can only go on so long. A lot of people outside the bay will hate this shit, and since they'll associate "hyphy" with "the bay", they won't be too receptive to rappers coming with different shit, and that'll be a problem. So if rappers from the bay came out at the same time on some other shit and established themselves on these different circuits (street, underground, etc.), even if they don't get played on mainstream pop radio, it'd help avoid that whole perception... I don't even know if I'm making that much sense...

everyone's hungry out here, we all gotta eat one way or the other

its funny how now and days it seems like the united states ain't even unified anymore either

Makaveli the Don said something very simular when talking about creating something like the thug nation when he was alive. It was his next mission to complete and it's a tragedy how he was murdered before he could suceed in doing so

Mac Dre was another pioneer on the merge of almost saving the state of rap music/hip-hop and he was murdered as well

we need to see the remaining leaders stand up and help take control of the game

all armys need commanders cheifs generals and troops

not only do the bay area artists need to unite and work together, but the whole nation needs to re-unite and take back our efforts of living, the generations of music and everything else evolving around us

even though we might hate on one and other, the hate is only there for a reason being

if one person thinks the next person isn't doing what they're suppose to be doing, someones going to say something. that's just the never-ending battle we must defeat and conquer to win the war over the wages
