Yuks been the same since the begibing he just focused on different areas of his persona more then others as he grew and matured. His flow & voice changed because he thought it would be better for his career ( and i think it was). Its called steppin your game up another level, he has always had that thug shit in him he neva just started. Buy his shit or dont buy it, dont start analyseibg every aspect of his life and start debating wether hes a thug or not, let the nig do him.

Any Tre Music Maker/Rapper's voice and style and lyrics are going to change from the surroundings they are in and how htere look on life is through there experiences. Maybe some of your voices haven't matured enough cuz mostly under 18 and havent had the chance to matuire. This Beef rap shit sells hotter than fish grease. Drugs violence haters and groupies and people in the booth drasticaly change your style. Not cuz you want to or are be being told to, it just evolution, and its better that way, its impossible to stay the same with music, Look at Mac Dre, he was the epidimy of evolution, sometimes you get caught up, thats life in the fast lane folks.

The luniz were tight back when they dropped Operation Stackola, but I never really got into Lunatik Muzik or Silver & Black. Yuk's developed a lot as a rapper - either you like the direction his style has taken or you don't. No-one can give a definitive answer, it's all up to your own personal opinion. I loved his shit back when, and I love his shit now. He was hot when I got 5 on it dropped, and I'm just glad he came back to the bay to represent. Hopefully he pulled a few non-bay listeners over to 'our side'.

Yuk started rappin harder after Pac died cuz someone needed to rep the west. Sorta like Pac being on top of the game and being from the west, Yuk saw the opportunity to try to fill the void that Pac left, so to speak. He basically stepped his game up and continues to do so to this day.
fa shiggity...thus...THUG LORD
...check his first solo "albulation" he put out, you can hear the transformation start to take place....dude is tight NO QUESTION, and he's been reppin' the west & movin' units consistantly over his career...Just like JT, Mac Dre, Guce, C-Bo, Spice 1...etc.
It's good for these cats to come out on major labels first, build up that different regional fan bases, and when contract is up...go the indie route & hit those areas HARD...pollitic with & do business with all the cats you met along the way & keep buzz going...
NOT like game did, and use mutha fuckas to get put in a position to where he can dickride one of the biggest names in the west...c'mon man y'all should be pullin' HIS covers not yuk's...this man used the bay to get where he is today, and has NOT put ANY bay artists on his projects...the only reason he did that song with yuk was to say that slick shit @ the end....this mutha fucka is on MTV tellin' his story on how he resurrected the west & how he gave his demo to Dre...not ONCE mentioning JT helping him out....THE WEST NEVER DIED HOMIE>>> HOW YOU RESURRECT SHIT??
Cali BEEN gettin' paper...Cali BEEN puttin' people up on game...if it wasn't for the Cali slang, weed and culture 75% of these east coast cats wouldn't know what to put in their videos or on their songs...this mutha fuckin' dude game owes his whole career to JT for even givin' a rats ass about his tongue ring wearin', butterfly tat havin', change of heart starrin' "gay-gsta." yeah...ok

I don't give a fuck...yuk BEEN puttin' in work for a minute...Spiderman just got put on, and from what I've been hearing...he won't even come close to movin' yuk numbers.
Yuk made a classic hip hop ANTHEM..that gets play EVERYWHERE!!! When Spiderdude does that...then maybe I'll give him a pass...but until then...fuck 'em

LOL at everybody saying "He matured". So screaming is maturing and trying to diss every rapper around is maturing? About the most people being uner 18 you're wrong i'm 25. How come when other people change their image yall clown. Remember when Hammer turned gangsta? Clownage. For some reason it makes people upset when you talk about yuckmouth on this forum. This is like the yuckmouth support group or something.

I don't think they mean maturing in the sense that he got wiser, just evolving into the artist he is now.

you can't compare hammer to yuk....yuk been spittin' hard...hammer flip flopped to "save" career....the only similarities between them is they're both brothas & they're both from the Town

and as far as people stickin' up for yuk...this is the bart page..you want to read some yuk hate mail go to the so cal page...northern cali got love for yuk mane

First of all calm down. Its not that serious I'm not asking or caring how street he is. My question was WHEN DID HE CHANGE HIS IMAGE. I could care less if he was shot 50 times and locked in trunks across America. I have homies who have been shot and raised by crack head parents. They dont act any different than anybody else would. Just because he's been through things why would that make him Change his voice and image all of a sudden.

Sometimes I think yall just back any bay artist because they are from the bay. These niggas could spit in ya mommas face and slap your grandmomma and you'll stick up for them like you owe them something. These niggas dont care about you. Why do you care so much about them. Same goes for pac yeah I liked some of his music but the nigga was not jesus, if he was alive today most of yall pac worshipers would be calling him a sellout or a bitch or something of that nature. Just like most of yall did when he moved down to LA calling him a bay reject. Now that he's gone everybody is on his nuts who wasnt when he was here.
Na... It has nothin to do with takin it seriously. Its really in general folks is starting to challenge rappers images and their history... (not you, but in general)

I think in reality, some people do change depending on thier life experiences and what not, but its real that the boy Yuk matured. Now you cannot argue that maturing does not have an effect on a person's style or image, let alone a rapper. Aint no one stickin up for a rapper here - unless youre like "Yuk is my favorite rapper, he's invincible in theez streets!"

That was wrong when folks was talkin about hes a sellout for movin and hustlin down in LA... same thing as 40-Fonz and TooShort, etc., just some boss shit tryna do it big, i mean if U were to move to a different city and try and make connection, musically and whatever, I would prop U, ya know what I mean? Its funny, no seriousness here cuzzin
