Does it really matter WHY the event was canceled..? no.

Its unfortunate.... and hopefully there will be another rescheduled within the NW region soon.

^^^it kinda does matter... cause if it was something along the lines of false representation, or sumthin, that sure as hell would make alot more people a lil reluctant to spend there hard earned money...

MC NeverLeaveTheBlock wants to go to the rap summit, for the sole purpose of meating and networking with there favorite local rapper, MC SortaLeftTheBlock...

But if the flyer promises he will be there, MC NLTB pays 50 out of his pocket, and MC SLTB aint there, then he would have been ripped off.... people got a weird vibe off of it, cause there was false advertising in the press release.

and the fact that the NWRS press release was EXACTLY like the BARS press release (substituting anything bay related, with something nw related)...

so i doubt it woulda been a progessive event... i woulda showed up, i just feel its funny that since it was a "rap" show it was canceled, when most of the shows at the roseland are "rap" shows

Look. There was no "false representation" or anything shady going on. This isnt something that HAS to happen in the NorthWest, its something my people are trying to do here and across the Country. Its not FREE for them to put it together so its not FREE for folks to attend. If its advertised that Jesus Christ himself will be in the building- then believe that he would be there... or he wouldnt be included on the printed flyer. 12 explained why the folks that were listed in the initial post online were included- sorry if that wasnt enough for you.
And umm yeah.. the press release was the same- these same events are being done all over the place. Maybe next time they should write up one special for each city so people like you wont question whether or not the event was legit... right.

The folks that are putting these together arent people that just popped up on the scene... it would have been (and will be once some other details are worked out) a great event.

Nice to know you would have shown up though- I look forward to meeting you.

well the flyer kinda had a LOGO on it with a company that WASNT affiliated with the event....

when i learned that, it made me weary of the credibilty of the event...
