When I got summoned I told the lady that interviewed me I would vote not guilty no matter what the evidence or charge. She asked me why and I said because I didn't want to be here missing work and getting like only a 1/4 of my pay. I was dismissed.

what a great way im gonna start off the new year, i got summoned again, anyone know how long it can be before you have to go again, a year or 6 months?
If you don't want to go.....do this:

DO NOT REPLY TO THEM AND DON'T SHOW UP.

Unless you signed something when you got the summons in the mail, there is NO WAY for the state to prove that you received it.

And when I said I couldn't go, they sent me another one a year later. And I tried to get out of it cause I moved (but didn't change my license) so the state of Washington told me to get a new license and send them a photocopy and I would be able to not go.

But, like I said above...if you haven't contacted them telling them you got some shit, don't go and don't call them or anything. If you EVER get another one, and you DO NOT want to go, do the same shit....don't call them, don't go. If you don't sign something like certified mail, they can't prove that shit was put into your mail box.

What could happen? They can't prove you got the mail unless you're ignorant enough to call them...and that's not meant as an insult, cause I did the same shit until my step dad told me to not call and not show up. lol...
