HEY FATAL I THOUGHT PEPPER$ WA$ IN A 3-4 DEFEN$E IN CAROLINA??
Nah bro he's a 4-3 Defensive End, but he wants to be a 3-4 Outside Linebacker. He feels he would do even better in a 3-4 and that's why he wants out of Carolina.

The only thing is, we KNOW Suggs can do it, we don't really KNOW if Peppers can. I'd be willing to take the risk, but like I said, Suggs should be priority #1 for us.

Carolina taking steps to make Peppers want to stay?Three days after defensive end Julius Peppers launched a public power play to get out of Carolina, the Panthers might be starting the process of making Julius happy.

Gone is defensive line coach Sal Sunseri. Sunseri is headed to the University of Alabama to join Nick Saban's staff.

Coincidentally, Sunseri arrived in 2002, the same year that the Carolina Panthers picked Peppers with the second overall selection in the draft.

There's also chatter that defensive coordinator Mike Trgovac could leave. Word is that his contract has expired, and that he might head to Jacksonville, where he would join Jack Del Rio's staff.

It remains to be seen whether such changes will persuade Peppers to stick around.

I read somewhere that the Ravens do not want to pay the price to franchise tag Suggs, which means that unless they come to a long-term deal he will test the free agent waters. At that point he's going to go to whoever makes him the best offer. There's always a chance they will work out a deal or Baltimore will bite the bullet and tag him again, but from what I read it sounds unlikely. Suggs wasn't very happy about being tagged last year, either.
