All I can think of right now is please PLEASE just do one song with San Quinn on there. It would be tight as fuck to get a real Figgero and Quinn duo song. Going back and forth on the rhymes and shit.
A concept for a song that might be tight could be like, rap about the shit that goes on in the fillmoe streets through the eyes a child. Shit I don't know I was just listening to 2pac's Shorty want to be a thug" Whatever I'm sure others will have better concepts

1). Maybe do a few political/consciousness-type tracks (like when you did "Beating Prophecy", "The Hidden Hand", "Foul From the Start", etc.) One concept you could think about might be something about the war in Iraq and the conflict its' created between Americans (i.e., those who support versus those that don't, what the consequences could be in the future, etc.)

2). Maybe you could have one six-or-seven minute, pass-the-mic kind of track on your new CD, with you, Quinn, D-Moe, Seff, Ive Lowe, The Gamblaz and any other artists who might fit going back and forth (maybe call it "We Still Get Low")...

3). A few street-story songs (like when you did "Anotha Episode" and "Mr. Millimeter") would be cool, too. I was thinking maybe do a track about the effects of drugs and alcohol through the eyes of the user...

And, like Frank Nitty said, some tracks with any Done Deal rappers would be hot, too. If you can't get with them on this particular CD, though, maybe plan something for future releases.

PEACE!

Everyone who posted above got really great ideas.....
Make a Versatile album, Id like to hear another bay area anthem collaboration. JT, Quinn, Mac Mall, e 40 over a ric roc beat?? Make this album a radio friendly something that'll catch the attention to the people who havent been exposed to your music. Stay away from the diss tracks; your above that you dont need em. Let it be known that independent hustle will always live in the bay. That would be nice if you can make at least 4 radio hits and keep them in rotation like the success you have with game recognize game. A solo song witta female would be ko0 too, it seems as though majors who experiment wit these types of songs are having good success today. Some people may not be feeling my ideas which is cool but when you live more than a quarter of a century and your tired of listen to killin n drug dealin songs not taking nothing from artists but thats just me, you tend to start expanding your taste in music to another level. Im a huge fan of laid back tracks over a nice beat, it doesnt hurt to have a song you can listen to after a hard days work.....

Yea get some of them texas fools like lil flip and paul wall/chamillionaire cuz their fans down there are die hard and will buy everything they are on... but dont' clutter the album up with features, do like 17 tracks, 5 with features, 12 solos. Too many albums out now that sound more like compilations with all the features and shit...... even tho the songs kinda played, a "game recognize game" remix or some shit would be dope, lot of fools know you from that track, shit was big back in the day.......

Well, it depends on what JT himself wants in terms of expansion...

IMHO, if you listen to SOMETHING CRUCIAL, "Fedi Can't Buy You Love" and "Too Fly For Me" are good examples of tracks that were radio-friendly with well-sung, soulful hooks--BUT they also had sharp, dope verses as well. "They Know" from GAME 4 SALE, and "Peace Not War" from HUSTLE RELENTLESS are other examples. All these songs could have been radio hits, IMHO.

The important thing, though, was that you could tell that JT had put as much care into the verses as he had into the hooks, which is something artists don't always do on those kinds of tracks.

To JT: If you do decide to make some radio-friendly type tracks (by yourself or with some of the rappers mentioned, like Lil Flip, etc.), just make sure that the verses still have substance, like you did on the songs cited above. Radio songs don't HAVE to be brain-dead, regardless of what major labels may think (not that you need me to tell you that, but hey...) PEACE!

PEACE!

4. get a fully loaded gamblaz mobb figaz song on there. that shit would be a clutch 6 or 7 minute session.
