He's special, probably the best physical specimen in all of Major League Baseball. Just pure, God given shit right there, it's amazing.
He can't hit changeups from right-handed pitchers, that is his weakness. But other than that, he pretty much destroys all FBs and most breaking balls and is a bonafide MVP candidate. Jon Daniels made the trade of the year in acquiring him, and I don't care that his team needs pitching and the guy he gave up is an All-Star pitcher this year. He got a truly "doesn't come around every 5 years" type of talent in Josh Hamilton, who is making the league minimum this year, and will in 2009 as well, and then will still be under control for 3 more years after that as a Texas Ranger.
Texas is going to be the next team besides the Angels to win the AL West.
