I've been to Porter Ranch, it's a rich little town with nothing but gated communities. I was almost scurred driving through there...

I think this dude was too embarrassed to rent out an apartment with his family and get a job so he decided to kill them instead. This foo was probably too worried about what people were going to think about him. That's why I'm glad I grew up broke. You don't give a fuck about shit like that.
