The job market is seriously fucked, at least in tacoma/surrounding area...i mean usually i work warehouse jobs, but even those even fuckin TEMP ones are bitchmade right now..

ive fillled out hella apps and shit and followed up on them in the last 2 weeks and seriuosly the only responses i get are bogus..

and i refuse to work at fast food or any of that shit..but yeah, anyone else having troubles getting a new job? this shit is fucked. luckily i have other means to make money but i need a more steady income

i got a new job and its the best job ive had so far....the hours are a pain in the ass but at 19 im really doing it for myself....try something differnet....i was use to working labor jobs that allways payed pretty well....but i changed my view and now im working in A/C and NOT breaking my back....

i got my first full time pay check today YEEE...1100 is what i can expect every two weeks.....thats 200 more then i was getting when i worked for the city.....

all benefits are the same pretty much.....the city had a family benefit package which i was earning for nothing....i dont got a kid or a spouse...


good luck/looking though.....

Most of the good paying jobs out there are not posted. Call random places that pay well to see if they are hiring. Try fedex, ups, or deliver pizzas in a rich part of town.... good luck.

after taxes.....but that was actually with a bonus for working the 4th of july.....so i should expect about a grand every two weeks......

i havnt earned any of my benefits untill 90 days but yeah im happy as fuck.....when i landed that city job i thought i was set....but i stepped my game up and now im set for a while...and im bottom tier...your pretty much guranteed a raise/promotion every year with this company on your year review....

I went through Aerotek and they hooked me up with an interview and now i'm on my third week of work. It took me about 4 weeks to find a job, but it worked out in the end.

it was tough for me to find work, and when I did it was thru friends. I have 2 jobs now, one 40 hour a week job and another part time gig. the part time is a bullshit retail job, but its extra money. the other job is printing for architects, and even tho the contractors are in a down time being affected by the economy as well, I'm in the digital department and my job seems pretty secure. they're giving me more training to do this big ass project that's gonna take months in addition to the normal daily work I've been doing. my 90 days is up in a couple weeks, I'm happy I'll be getting benefits finally. the only thing that really sucked is everyone else got their bonus last friday and I just got my normal ass paycheck :ermm:

I got a secure job, but looking for a better one. I actually just got an Associates Degree in Administration of Justice. I'm thinking Border Patrol, US Customs or ICE. Latent Finger Print examiner sounds dope as fuck too, they make good bank. Whatever though, I just chose this major because it was easy as fuck and basically common sense. I recommend it if you just want to get an AS degree. A degree is a degree, as long as you get that status of having finished some form of college.

I also thought about working for SDG&E.

I have an interview tommorow for a warehouse job, so i should land that no probs...but really i mean it seems like at least around here the job market is just bogus as fuck..

it wasn't even that bad when i was looking for my last job that i had for a year..when i was applying then i got tons of call backs and job offers n shit. i had to quit there because there was literally so few hours that it wasn't even worth it.

Its fucked all over. I live in the Sacramento area & itz a bitch out here. I tell people. If u got a job, keep it. I got to take a test for Apple Computers tomorrow. I'm praying to GOD I pass this test & get the interview cuz it would change everything for me if I get this job.

I use to atleast get call backs from jobs but I'm lucky to get even one in an entire week now. Very stressful. If I don't get the job @ Apple I'm shooting to L.A. So if u end up seeing my Location: Born In Los Skanless.... Raized In Mudville..... Back In Los Skanless, then that means I didn't get the job. LOL!! Naw, but its hard as fuck.

So many politics. Sacramento is such a political town. They piss test you for 90% of the jobs out here & run a background for about 85% of the jobs out here & make u take a test for about 60% of these jobs. I can pass the piss & criminal background but still. I've done bullshit 3 day temp jobs & they still ran a background. Just for a 3 day assignment.
