JIN is my dude yall be playin. demanding respect from everyone and if they don't know you, you feel disrespected. Be glad we r being reconized. That does not happen to often, oh let me think of the last time an eastcoast emcee gave it up to a Bay Area emcee in a song, NEVER. Good shit from JIN he knows how to keep it real. We gave him mad love when he cam out to the Bay and when we were with him in VEGAS.

Thats very true and its good exposure for the bay...but I still can't get over the fact his favorite MD song is Feelin Myself...thats his last single that everybody knows, its on the radio, and its not even one of MD's top ten tracks!...it just makes me think he hasn't heard YBB, Stupid Doo Doo Dumb, etc and therefore has hopped on the bandwagon after hearing Feeling Myself on the radio or on Ronald Dregan...
Legendgary-I remember that old school new york rapper who gave props to Ant Banks & Spice 1 in a song back in the '90s, he was called Daddy-O. The line went
"Now this ain't Oaktown, it's New York son/
But the funk still flows like it does with Ant Banks and Spice 1/"
...so Jin technicaly ain't the first.
Problem with this though, is that Jin is really fuckin hated. Most people ain't even tryin to hear him, so it's not like fuckin Jay-Z or whoever gave props to the bay. I mean it's cool that he does, and it's rare that someone from the east coast actually shows love for the bay, but it's not like he is east coast hip-hop; he's the underdog, just like bay rap is the underdog.

Ya mad props to Jin for recoginizing. But I still think it's shady they promoted the hell out of Jada's album but didn't spend any real money on his promotion last year or release the song he did with Kanye as a single. That goes to show that artists have no control over their careers with major labels.
Read what I said again...never said he had to have a list but Feelin Myself as your favorite Mac Dre track is suspect (I personally think any track off YBB kills it)...like I said before Feelin Myself was his last single and I know a ton of people that jumped on the bandwagon and were all over that song like it was MD's best ever because they never heard any of his older shit...
