who cares how "big" he would be now if this or that happened?
he still released tight albums and they wouldn't be any worse if 2pac and biggie didn't get killed...

jay-z battling game is like ... woah woah, who the fuck is game?

if you didn't know already, he was signed to a major... and to my knowledge, he dropped a series of singles in the mid-90's that sold poorly, even for an underground rapper.... that career, as an emcee.

he made Yuk look stupid due to Yuk's OWN mistake...and Jay Z is A LOT SMARTER than that...I agree, some arent giving GAME enough credit....but I DO like the fact that GAME aint trying to let NO ONE punk regardless of their status...that could be a good thing or it can into a BAD thing...he seems like a HOT head, and we know what happens to HOT heads...oh well...we will see what happens..

regardless of any strong point made, Jay-zwill never get credit from most of these hard headed stubborn ass fans on here......give the man props if he desereves it....without hurting your pride or doing anything that might make you look like you are sidin for the east coast...you can honestly say jay-z is weak?? i never understand people who say this, if i'm dick ridin so be it, if you wanna say i'm on his nuts, go ahead...all your doin is being insecure online , while listening to jay-z while your typin on here. i knock jigga, i have every one of his albums, he spits real flame....see it how you want, the game looks like a bowl of wheaties to jay-z, and i garuntee he will eat him up in a heatbeat! e don't want it. he's real tough over seas talkin shit, until someone recorded on there cell phone and brought it back showin the truth..

actually u dont know that...u dont know what influence Pac and Big's death had on Jay Z...If they were alive he PROBABLY would NOT have been reciting soooo many of Big's lines and who's to say that Pac would not have been still dissing Jay to this day, which im sure Jay would have gotten tired of it...the whole rap game might be different, because of the influence these two had on their sides of the country...so I am confident that his albums would have been ALTERED if these guys were still alive, but NO ONE can know for sure.....

shit.. as far as Pac "battling" muhfuckas.. all he could say was "fuck (insert name here)".. Chino XL MURDERED Pac and for doing it, the industry blackballed him.. Jay was smart.. he could've easily destroyed him too, but Pac was the #1 rapper in music at the moment and that would've fucked up the building of his career. it's just like Jada not dissing 50.. there are higher powers behind it..

I'm out West, but you chumps should realize that Game is not seeing Jay-Z on shit... everything. skills, albums, accomplishments, money.. "I got apartments you could fit ya home in", please..

question though: how did Game make Yuk look stupid? this is where I'm confused..

Jay is good rapper, very intellectual..but sometimes I do think he gets a lil carried away about how tight he is...to be honest, I DONT think he is going to end GAME's career..personally I dont think he can.. Im not talking about in a LYRICAL battle, Im talking about in general...I think GAME is hooked up with the right people and I think he will actually beef OFF wax before he lets Jay Z end his career..I doubt he will sit around and just let Jay Z give it to him without having a confrontation with Jay...and I respect GAME for NOT letting anyone punk him, regardless who he is...

From man to man, if u get disrespected I would hope anyone would defend themselves regardless if the person that disrespected u is considered a legend or not...thatz just real life right there...

I aint a hater......I think Jay is cool emcee....I have maybe 3 of his albums, but have heard em all, and I reall dont feel many of em except reaonable doubt and blueprint....whn I say feelin em, I mean I play almost every track on there. With that said, I dont think Jay-z would murder Game on the mic. Shit, IMO, Game got the better of Yuk in their little battle. With all that said I am from the Westcoast, and will support the Wescoast any day of the week over the East......and I am not in all that East v. West beefin shit........I own shit from all over the country, If I feel it, then I cop it, but Jay Doesnt show any love to the West, and wouldnt give two fucks if anyone from the West ever sold another album.....so call it what u want, I'm ridinng with the Game.

he made Yuk look stupid by dissing him on that supposedly peace track they were both on......thatz Yuk's fault though...

Chino XL never really hit it big to begin with...so that wasnt the best example...actually I think Jay didnt diss Pac, because of what u said and because of the DEATH ROW affliation..letz be honest here..Suge was running the game in the mide 90's...NO ONE, especially on the EAST COAST was really trying to diss DEATH ROW...DOGG POUND had a song dissing NEW YORK and made a video about it..and NONE of them came back and did the same to the WEST..Mobb Deep made an unrelased song about LA, but NO ONE was brave enough to retaliate in the same manner...

by Jay not dissing Pac back was a smart move for his career....hey he's a smart guy...which is probably why he didnt get caught up in that beef in the 90's and why is probably still living today...life is way more important than money...

i don't think it would have changed the outcome of jays music much if at all... he still presents the critical amount of skill required to go platinum over and over. reasonable doubt went double platinum i think, and it was released when pac and big were still alive. i never said i knew this or that for a fact ... but to credit jay-z for having the skills to put it down like he does all to biggie and or pacs death is RIDICULOUS... altered maybe, but it would not have had to necessarily be in a negative way.

That career was over the moment he signed the contract because he was a backpacker with zero commercial appeal (except to the baggy jeans wearing, pop locking, spray painting college kids who listen to the wake up show). It had nothing to do with his battle against g craig.

skill alone...yeah he still would have been capable..but dont know if the attention would have been there(well not as much as now)
