In an interview with USA Today, Jay-Z says he's not bothered by Cam'ron, who recently released Gotta Love It, in which he disses Jay-Z.

"The artist in me tells me to respond to that immediately," Jay-Z says. "But I know what that's all about. He has an album coming (Killa Season), and how else is he going to get mentioned in USA TODAY or other publications?"

Also, Jay-Z told MTV News he's "torn.".
"I feel like I would be stupid to even pay that any attention, because it's such a ploy. ... N---as is holding press conferences behind [the dis record]. The MC in me is like, 'That's too easy [to come back at him.]' That's not even a good dis record. That
sh-- is trash. I'm torn. We'll see what happens. Maybe on my time we'll deal with it, but I'm not really pressed. I'm inspired by good artistic sh--. Cam's sh-- is not artistic. There's nothing good about it. Everything about it is an obvious ploy to get attention. Nobody wants to get used. You're just using me. Of course he had to go that far."

As for Nas' next album, Jay-Z says it will probably drop in September and that he will probably be on one song. He hopes Nas will have production from Kanye West, DJ Premier, Just Blaze, Dr. Dre, Timbaland and Pharrell Williams

I have to disagree with you on this. If Jay does not respond then he is a coward. Cam is going to murk him something fierce and Jay fears Cam. Not in a sense of taking anything away because Jay climbed to the top by being a shady person. But hes scared in a sense that he may not be able to handle this one. We will see but Iam going Killa all the way. I have never heard a Jay verse that could kill any verse off the C.O.C album. Jay-z is done, Cam is an MC and Jay Z is a rapper, its time to let some real cats step in and take over. Peace.

Real shit... this is like the LL & Canibus thing! Only difference is this time the underdog has a stronger foundation along with concrete evidence. We can all say Jay is the most lyrical... but after swagger jacker, I can say it's obvious who's more comfortable being them. Cam does Cam very well, and there ain't another like em. His unorthadoz flow signifies that he doesn't have to compare to anybody else... just do him! Now it clearly shows that Jay used more rhymes than just quoting a famous line. which leads me to believe that there are probably more stolen rhymes & quotes from other artist I may not have tuned into. We all can quote, most of the time as a sample or on a hook. Jay-Z's shit spanned thruout his whole career. Cam on the otherhand can do his grimey "say whatever the fuck I want and make you like it" style of rap, and still seay records which shows a lot. Jay-Z is tight, but we all know he was exposed... and I love the way Cam put it "2-Pac didn't even like you", but he still managed to be on his dick. If I was Cam, and this nigga Jay was acting alll funny style towards me when I came to the Roc offices, running to Dame telling em he aint feeling me, and I get the slightest hint of a concert directed at me... I'm at him! Ain't nobody above a verbal ass whooping! Hat's off to Nelly too for not being scared to go against what some may think is true Hip-Hop(KRS-1). I think Cam may be able to pull off what Canibus was unable to do... expose these older heads, and make em respect the new generation for we are the future. Scarface respected T.I for being strong enough to accept that title, and even more for living up to it... "The King Of The South". Some people would hate to see Muhammad Ali get smashed on by Jermaine Taylor... but it won't happen because Ali respects new growth and new life.
