i only heard the poppin' tags song and damn JAY-Z came sooooooooooooooooo lame in that track...twista just outshined him and big boi too, killer mike was okay but jay-z just came like shit on it...surprised he would on a ballin' type of song which is his favorite topic, maybe cause he was trying to snap(rap fast) he could only come up with simple rhymes
i heard tha c.d. from a homie who's on his dicc like condoms. it wuz aight. i think jay-z got lyrics but his beats are bland, his delivery is bland, his voice is bland. he don't bring no life into his music. he do got lyrics, but wut i heard, it din't make me wanna go buy his shit when it drops. but hey, to each his own. fold.
my whole thing is, jay z is fuckin consistent.........i mean, some peeps might not feel him ,which is fine and dandy, but if you actually like him, he has never disappointed.......i feel to many times that westcoast artists are in the mentality to just get the money, and dont put their heart and soul into actually making a solid, tight ass album........jay makes sure his beats are on point, he plots out and thinks about his lyrics, and always have just the right amout of features, not to mention tight features.......only one i can think of that doesnt dissappoint on the west coast, THAT ACTUALLY DROPS ONE ALBUM A YEAR, is E-40.......i mean, dr. dre always come through, but it takes him forever to drop a cd.......i think everyones tired of snoop, kurupt came wit it but he thinks he god now, xzibit usually comes tight but not extremely tight, lynch would contend if he actually put out albums....i dunno, im just tired of the east coast putting out better quality albums and doing it consistently.......im rambling
