actually he was either goin to try to make a cut or bracing for the hit that was coming and tryin to run over atwater in no way was he tryin to do somewhat of a jumpstop his momentum would've taken him forward and that was a helluva hit dont hate on that shit he got layed on his ass point blank Okoye was what 235 or 245 and Atwater was 195 i think. anyways Atwater layed hats on fools!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i said somewhat of a "jump step"...not a full one...if you watch scary's sig like i did..you can clearly see Okoye's momentum was slowed down alot before Atwater hit him, its like he was ALMOST at a complete stop when he was blasted...im not hating on the hit at all..im just saying its not all that big of a hit as what people make it out to be is all.

if he was trying to make a cut, his momentum would have slowed down considerably...everyone acts like they hit eachother going full speed...Okoye was far from going full speed. he braced for the hit i believe, and Atwater came in full speed and hit em when he was off balance.

there should be a jacked up thread for the upcoming season. each week the hardest hits put on display in the nfl and college.

ike reese had a monstrous hit on patrick creighton in the falcons cowboys game last year. i think thats who it was, theres a lotta cowboy fans here maybe they remember.

in the same game you can see deangelo hall try to make a tackle and get knocked away about 10 yards arms flailing in the air like he was a flea gettin swatted off a dogs nutsac. funniest shit i ever seen in my life.

i do recall seeing that. i believe ike reese's hit was also on jacked up.

i also remember deangelo hall getting knocked back. lol, i don't know about ten yards back, but maybe four of give yards backwards.

it was a lineman that basically threw hall because he tried to come into a pile all late...tha lineman seen him coming and blew him up...lol

the funniest part was how he approached the pile so aggressively but ended up looking like a freshman high school water boy trying to play with the big dogs.

i dont know if anyone mentioned that hit on bush in the eagles game but that was ferocious too.
