I was just checking out rapbay.com because I am getting ready to place an order and at the bottom of the page they got up that the Jacka - Jack Artist and Side Industry - Knock Knock are coming out on the 8th of this month...

That is only a couple of days away and the banner at the bottom is relatively new. I know Franknitty been talking about the release date for the Jacka's album and Yung-G knows the deal with Side Industry's new one. Can you confirm if these albums are going to drop on the 8th? Can anyone confirm the dates? Thanks.

i just got of the phone with Lee Majors (Side Industry). and he said "Knock, Knock" has been pushed back until after the Side Industry & Jacka DVD, "Ghetto Gumbo" drops this month.

on the "Ghetto Gumbo" DVD you can expect appearances by: Jacka, Side Industry, Cormega, Keak da Sneak, Luni Coleone, Luniz, PSD The Drivah, B-Legit, Petey Pablo, Dru Down, Husalah (Mob Figaz), Steady Mobbin, Killa Tay, King George, and hella others.

Missed Release on Jacka------

Come on Now! I was lookin to buy today and get a slap in the face as a customer with this August shii? Get it right the first time. I knew it would be later since rapbay.com was the only listing throughout all internet---but really now!

Released dates being pushed back cannot help album sales, can they? If so, someone document success--but anticipating this Jacka album, like all of us here, i frown at the management out there for Jacka. Ex. #2, thejacka.com?

missed release? no

i would appreciate it if wouldnt complain and talk shit but really you can do whatever you want. we have never released an official release date for the album...whoever put june 8 up did that on their own and doesnt know anything about the project. when the album is going to come out, you will definitely know. not one fake post somewhere...that for some reason you fell for. but i do agree with you, pushing back release dates is definitely a bad move.

and what about the website? www.thejacka.com? did anyone tell you it was up? did you pay for it to go up? what are you even talkin about? someone's workin on it and when its what we want it to be, it will be up and you'll know. i understand that you want to see it, and i want it up, but things are not always as easy as you think they are.

i understand where you are coming from, but dont start making insults and frownin in this direction when you dont really know what you are talkin about. i am anticipating the release of the album 100 times more than you. and the people who work for Jacka, including myself, work hard and are very serious about his career.

the only way to prove it to you is thru action, so in time you will see. thats all that can really be said.

thanks for the opinion tho. it is good to know that people cannot wait for the project and anything else from the Jack

pkali/franknitty,

Thanks for responding. I questioned the web site, because even if its not offially up, people still inquire--even those not on the siccness, which is why finsihed or not, wider audiences will view the site if theres partial completion. I heard about the site through interviews with Jacka himself, where he was informing fans to check it out (link in siccness hsitory). As for paying for the site...you should receive my payment when the CD is relased!!

I hope you realize my intention is not to insult the mangament, instead start motivating you and encouraging some solutions toward further sales and growth. Chill G.

Comments/Questions, let me know.

Well, there is really no need to question the management capabilities in order to motivate us. We stay motivated because we believe in our artists, as well as the team around us. There are so many variables in putting out an album that you wouldn't even know about. I can tell you this though, PK works hard for all his artists. He will not accept anything less than perfection, which is why things are going the way they are....why release something that is a half-ass bullshit product to dissapoint the fans who have waited this long for Jack's second album. I appreciate your interest, and am glad your gonna buy the album. So why complain, were gonna give you something that you feel good about after spending your hard earned money....just let us do our job and we will let you know when shits going down...peace.

i been waitin for that side industry for a hot one mang...all in due time tho...everyday life is a classic
trust me cuzzin, this album will be better than "everyday life" and previous releases. they're just takin their time with releasin it, because they want everything (promo., etc.) to be right, so that the album won't be a great waste, and it will be able to reach its full potential as far as record sales go.
but look for that "Ghetto Gumbo" DVD droppin this June !
