It seems like a new talent is being picked up by a major every day. J. Valentine, CEO of City Boyz Muzik, has just inked a deal with J Records!! J Records is home to artists such as Alicia Keys, Cassidy, Jamie Foxx, Babyface and others. J took the radio world by storm in 2005 with his "Go Dumb" song alongside labelmate Bailey. The two collectively sold thousands of their street tape "Hide Ya Breezy" and continue to rise to the top. Shows, mixtapes, and endless hustling was bound to pay off, and there's no doubt that Bailey is on his way to a similar path as well. Well J. Valentine's debut album is set to drop this summer on J. Records of course. J has recently collaborated with super producer Scott Storch and the infamous duo of Cool and Dre. Dre and Vadal who were behind Ciara's "O", Usher's "Caught Up", and Chris Brown's "Yo" will also be contributing to the major caliber album. You'll get some of them inhouse City Boyz slumpers as well though. With their natural chemistry, J and Bailey will make sure to knock out a collaboration on the debut album too.
