since when has damp been much of an inside presence...it's not like he was a solid 20 and 10 every night...thats why they didn't give him the money he wanted, they didn't get rid of him....and develop? haha it took 8 years to finally avg 12 and 12 for a season...and let me know when he does something in dallas besides lose in the 2nd round of the playoffs...
it's clear in the first 8 games we miss Damp alot more than we like to admit.........besides Yao in the west, now that shaq is gone, Damp was the only guy who is an inside presence. Damp is a tru center and a space eater. Foyle is not playing well, him and Davis are looking softer than i expected. i thought Davis was a bruiser, but he's playing real soft like. Damp IS making an impact in Dallas. gives them a better center than Bradley, and opens the game up for Dirk and Fin.
i also heard Brent Barry was REALLY considering GS or Spurs. I feel it was best for him in SA, cuz he wants a championship and we have JRich and Peitrus. JRich and Murph have the same agent so, something had to get done. Murph has been better in the last 3 games. if he can get his form back from his 2nd season as a double double man, that would be great. remember he missed most of last year. Murph just has to stop settling for that jumpshot, but he's finally knocking it down, and calming down.
too bad Uncle Cliffy wasen't 30 or even 32 lol.......his shot is starting to hit like last year, which is a good thing. either Foyle or Davis has to step up big time, i hope it's Foyle cuz we paid him, so he better light a fire up his ass lol........
and everyone saying we spent too much on jrich and murph. let me ask u, WHO WOULD WE GET NEXT YEAR IN FREE AGENCY ????

this is not a finished product, we will not know for a few years if this decission was a good or bad one. did u think the signing of jrich and murph would put the warriors in a title contender ? i've became more patient now, and just want improvement each year, and not go backwards !! GO GSW

i was talking about the center position......yeah kg, duncan, webber are GREAT power forwards...
but DAMP was a legit center.
Brand is a good player, but to say he plays like he's over 7 feet is a lil steep......and the Barkely comparision will be true if he says a Clipper. cuz he'll be just like Chuck a good player that NEVER will win a championship. chuck is mounds and mounds of rebounds better than Brand will ever be.
also i haven't seen Webber post up since he was at Golden State, he LOVES the 17 footer too much lol......

back in the dayz height wasen't an issue like it is today. rookies are dropping in the draft because they HAVE to get measured in the pre draft camps. in college they can say whatever height they are. when they get to pre draft measurement day, that's d-day lol.........
