Last week, "Snitch Niggas" by Scarface featuring Bun B and Z-Ro was leaked. The song left many believing that Scarface had beef with 50 Cent. After all, the song starts off with the same sound of a coin dropping on a table as 50 Cent's LP, Get Rich Or Die Trying does. Next, Houston Rap-A-Lot recording artist Z-Ro keep repeating over and over again, "Run and tell somebody it's your worst day," just like 50's repeating, "Go shorty, it's your birthday. We're gon' party like it's your birthday," in the beginning of his hit single "In Da Club."
Z-Ro is the only one who mentioned 50 by name in the song. That's because Bun B nor Scarface is talking about 50. It turns out that the song is years old and Z-Ro vocals were added just recently without the others' knowledge. Rap-A-Lot Records CEO and owner Lil' J gave him the permission after obviously being biased towards Murder Inc. Records who he along with Death Row Records CEO and owner Marion "Suge" Knight is founding a new record label with.
The song will be featured on Scarface's eight LP, Balls And My Word, due out April 8th, 2003. It features previously unreleased material recorded before he left Rap-A-Lot for Def Jam South. There's no beef between 50 and Scarface, they're even in talks to collaborate on a song. There's most likely no beef between 50 and Bun B either as they both appeared on "As The World Turns" on 50's underground LP, Guess Who's Back?
