I've played this album over 4 times yestarday to today. What the fuck are people talking about this wack or this album "all about hoes and money" gtfoh Lol. This IS actually a stronger album than his 1st. The topics make sense since he is talking about his life within the last 2 years since he came up. He's talking about his vices & sins he's dealt with and keeping it honest. It's a departure from all that basketball themed shit he's been on and a step in a GREAT direction if you ask me.

Musically his production has gotten better and sharper. He had alot of good beats on Cole World and talked about real shit on Cole World and played it REALLY safe with his singles & still went gold off the album.

This time, dude could fuck around & go plat I think. ALOT of ppl are fucking with him now than in 2011

With all the hype around this album and his first album not really being anything special I wasn't expecting much from this but gotdamn this is one dope ass album. Kinda makes me mad I didn't try to even go see him on the Dollar and a Dream tour.

Rapper J. Cole was extorted by a sick fan who tweeted a photo of a little girl with a gun to her head ... and claimed he would shoot her if Cole did not respond to his message.

The fan tweeted last night "@JColeNC retweet me and I'll buy Born Sinner. Don't retweet me and I'll kill my lil sister."

Shortly after the threatening tweet, which refers to Cole's new album ... Cole did indeed retweet the message.

It's unclear if the gun is real or where the twisted bastard behind the tweet actually lives. The account, which we're not revealing, claims to be out of Saudi Arabia -- but the truth is it could be anywhere in the world.

We reached out to police in North Carolina -- where J. Cole lives -- to see if they were investigating ... but they hadn't heard anything about it.

We also contacted Twitter headquarters ... a rep said the company doesn't comment on individual accounts to protect privacy

This morning J. Cole commented about the incident, saying ... "Wildest s**t I ever seen on twitter."
Pretty sure that dude just trolled both Cole and TMZ though lol.

I wish him well and he has a strong fan base but the songs I've heard from him don't make me wanna purchase his music. All of the puberty voice rappers (BIG SEAN, DRAKE, J. COLE, SOLJA BOY, etc...) have a very boring and annoying flow after one or two songs. Good luck J. Cole and much success in life!!!
